Would Running 295/30/19 in the rear be too much?
Well if somone with good experience would chime in, it would be greatly appreciated.
I have some 9.5 and 10.5 wheels...I was originally thinking of 255/35/19 and 285/35/19...but I kind of want the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta Tires...so I was thinking of going 255 in the fronts, and having 295/30/19 in the rear...would this pose any issues with VDC? |
Go 275 in the front and 295 in the rear. I have used that combo. Fitment depends on your wheel offset and how much you lower your car.
|
+22 offset...my car is pretty low...not tucking, but no fender gap...
|
You wil have to roll your fenders and run approx -1.5 or -2.0 camber to fit it. That's my experience.
|
well my rear camber is at 1.9 right now...rolling the fenders is no issue, ready to do that...but just worried about VDC and such...and handling...with such wide tires up front, won't I get more oversteer?
|
for autoX I run Front 295s and Rear 315's (rolled fenders in the rear) - works wonderfully! I would have liked to keep a square set-up, but there's no way of fitting a 315 up front...but w/ the Z's TQ, you can still get the car rotated.

IM running those tires with a roll, tanabe springs and spring mount cut. 255/35/19 in the front and 295/30/19 in rear. GTS in 9.5" +17 in front and 10.5" +18 in rear.

The difference in circumference is 75.40 mm. This may be pushing the limits of VDC. |

I've got 265/30/19 F and 295/30/19 R on 9.5 and 10.5 +22 LE37T's...
No VDC issues and no problems up front with 265's, I think 275 would work too. |

Can you guys post some pics of these 295 and 305 rear setups?
|
hmm...I guess thats the dilemma now is on the fronts...295 on the rears for sure...fronts...probably leaning towards 265...since 265/295 will make the two tire circs both 2.7% smaller than stock...

I don't have many pics of my car in general but will have new ones this weekend. These are the only ones that may show anything. 245/35/19 front 305/30/19 rears... |

+18 rear offset, 10.5 wide rim, -2 degrees camber, lowered 1.8 inches in the rear. http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/4...tion017wy1.jpg |
Chad and Nitrouz thanks for posting the pictures. I think I'm sold on the 305s. I'm sure those gotta be intimidating to the cars behind you lol.
