Your 245/295-30 combination will work fine.

The accepted variance front to rear is 0-6% and your combination is 4.5%

except for the fact your car will plow the front end.

Can you show me this so called specification for the VDC??????

The only specification on this entire site that I have read is the FRONT TO REAR RATIO. Not just the front. Not just the rear. BOTH FRONT AND REAR ALWAYS NEED TO BE PART OF VDC DISCUSSION.

Like I have tried stating before, if you decrease the front EQUAL to the rear the VDC will see ZERO effect from the size changes. Contrary to what you might believe there is no little man in your car that is measuring the individual tire sizes

Might be a little harsh but I think you are missing this point

RE> “Might be a little harsh but I think you are missing this point.”

I don’t think that you are being “harsh.” In fact you are presenting the counter-point that is important to this discussion.

I also would like to introduce an additional concept to this argument: Our focus seems to be on VDC-equipped Z’s, but in fact the discussion should also include TCS. I’ve owned both (an Enthusiast model with just TCS and a Performance Model with VDC). Of course the Performance model with VDC also has TCS. Mounting the wrong-sized tires is problematic with both cars/models/VDC/TCS. In fact it is the SLIP light you see with failure/protection on cars with VDC or TCS.

I believe you think that maintaining a percentage difference for overall diameter between the front and rear tires is a solution. Please correct me if I misstate your point.

My experience is that you must respect the rear tire size (for both VDC and TCS). If you search here, you see that this parameter holds-up well when selecting tires sizes.

EDIT: It looks as though your key-caps is sticking (all CAPS are hard to read).

Good point and advice. With these tires sizes, the car will turn-in like a bathtub half-full of water. :(

So what would you guys gather with the stock 07'-08' Track and NISMO edition models 18" front and 19" rear sizing? I would assume Nissan recalculated the VDC settings to accept a larger percentage difference in wheel speed between the front and rear would be acceptable.

The didn't have to do anything, You do know that the wheel size and tire height are independant of each other right. You can run 17's up front and 20's in the rear as long as the tires are sized properly.
