Will these bad boi's fit?
Hey all, I was curiosu if anyone knew if the sizes below would fit a 05" with non-brembo brakes. Let me know. Thanks
Fronts: 20x10 +10mm offset Rear: 20x11 -5mm offset |
Bad offsets, and bad sizes.
Ideally, you want +20-25 offset on front and rear. |
Wait are you saying I should go -25 all around or +25 all around? Other then that the 20X11 and 20x10 will fit right?

You should have comprehended +20 (to) +25 offset, not +20 (to) -25
Search the wheel/tire forum for the sizes. IIRC, you'll have a hard time fitting 10's in front and 11's in back without rolling your fenders, etc. I'm not even sure 10's will fit in the front at all. With these sizes, you better be pushing a significant amount of power to the ground. With that wide of a tire setup, the increased drag would prove to be less efficient for an NA powered Z. |
wait for someone whose posted in this thread to help you out:
https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-tire...s-welcome.html they can chime in and help you make it work. |
With proper tire size and ride height, it will work but your overall stance will be super aggressive.

I have 20x9.5 and 20x11 Iforged, unfortunately Iforged doesn't release their offsets so I can't help you there. Just looking at mine, I can tell you that if you had the PERFECT offsets you could fit a 20x10 in the front, but again, you would have to have literally perfect offsets.
That said, even if you can get perfect offsets, you will definitely have to roll/cut your fenders to be able to get these to work. In regards to what Silverstone-Z said, with this much tire to the ground your Z won't feel as "dangerous" or sporty for that matter. Depending on what brand you choose, they could weigh a ton which will significantly slow you down. Compared to the factory 8.5 rears, with this much extra tire you really have to be actin' a fool to break them loose, do donuts, etc. Also, get ready to get raped on tire prices. Bend over. Seriously. Picture for reference (be nice guys, first time posting pictures/its just a street car, DD). Let me know if you want any others and I can post more. http://i482.photobucket.com/albums/r...DR/7-6-081.jpg |
10's and 11's will fit fine with the proper offset, those are not the proper offset
|
Did you get the answer you needed?

more pics of ur car please

It's really a basic car at this point. My sig lists most of my mods, and in the near future I'm going to be adding a lot of suspension pieces and '06 LED tails, then change up the exterior with something clean (thinking Nismo Z front, undecided on sides, and possibly Chargespeed rear) and have been eying that replica Blitz spoiler GB quite a bit lately. Then if I'm still Z hungry in 2 years I will start to look into additional power, maybe that HKS supercharger and better HID headlights. I don't need much more power for what I use the car for as I'd be happy with 360-400hp and reliability. <--Edit: Crank HP, I'd be happy with 330ish to the wheels.
I don't want to threadjack but here are a couple more I took that same day. Fronts: 20x10 +10mm offset Rear: 20x11 -5mm offset Fronts: 20x10 +10mm offset.......<--- YES Rear: 20x11 -5mm offset............<---Not without some more negative camber and a stretched tire. |
^I agree with Dustin.
Fronts will fit, but, to make the rears fit, you'll need a crazy stretched tire and probably a pulled fender. |
I like those iForged wheels.
|
It'll fit, you just need to roll/pull your fenders and run some serious neg camber. It'll work on a stock body.

Like Dustin said, you will need to stretch the rear tire quite a bit. I run a 275 on the rear right now, however next go around when I need new tires I will probably go to a 285 or more and test it out. |
those are sick offsets
negative camber and stretch FTW edit: and yes they will fit |
he has the do luck wide body so his front is wider by about 10mm and 25mm in the rear. Those offsets should work. You can kind of play around a little more if you are worried but it's up to you. It's all about the deep lip in the rear :bowrofl: i believe our wheels in the rear of our previous build was doing 6 inch rear lip.
|
^^^ 6" lip?
http://www.charliedigital.com/conten...riday-damn.jpg That's huge. I think mine is only 4.5" or 5", then again I'm not widebody. |
