Gram Lights 57F-PRO's released
 

Well, It only took about 6-7 months for Ray's to finally release this wheel. Gotta say, after I first saw it, I feel in love. These wheels are the bomb. Huge PHAT Lip on em!

I don't really like the 57F's or the 57 PRO's...Only like the 57F-PRO's cause the spoke is flatter, and looks a little thicker. ANYONE have any better PICS which are much clearer and show a "SIDE" VIEW?

Some comments:
They look to finally be available to order. Found the following website which is selling the 18's and the 19's for around: $475 and $498 each. NOT BAD. Check the link.

Any wheel vendors out there maybe answer a few questions:
1. How much will this wheel weigh in say: 18x10 and 19x10.5???
2. What should be the offset for the 350z if you go with the following:
18x8 in front, 18x10 in rear.........OR 19x8.5 FRONT, 19x10.5 REAR?

The LIP just gets freaking huge the lower the offset!
Lastly, Yes Ray's engineering finally is listing the wheel in their database:

I guess I don't understand the relationships with Volk and Rays, whatever it is it is confusing. Judging by the style of the rivots, it is the same manufacture as the GT-C, and the rest.

Well,

Think of it this way: Ray's Engineering makes A BUNCH of different branded wheels.

Ray's makes the VOLK "line" or should I say "Brand" of wheel.

Ray's also makes the "Gram Lights" "Brand or line" of wheel.

hell, Ray's engineering also makes the "G-games" line of wheel.

Mackin Industries is the master distributor for most of Ray's wheels, which is why they carry VOLK, Gram Lights, etc.

Come to think of it, I think Ray's engineering even makes the NISMO LM-GT4 Wheel for NISMO.

I ordered a set of 18x9 and 18x10 F-Pros. They shipped out on Friday and should be here at the end of the week. When i get them installed I will post pics of them.

And CluelessZ obviously isn't too clueless about Rays Wheels. :)

In short.........

Gram Lights, G-Games, Volk Racing, Volk Racing Fine Forged, NISMO are made by RAYS Engineering.

I believe a good analogy would be....

GMC, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Cadillac, Opel are made by General Motors.

I've had my 57 Pro's for a few months now and I love them. I actually don't think the spokes are much different in thickness than mine. Mine definitely appear to curve more based on the pics. Check this out. My wheel guy did me right also...my prices were quite a bit cheaper than what you posted as well, and included shipping, center caps, lugs, and centering rings.

TopicsII: SWEET!!!! I'm So glad to hear someone has finally ordered a set.

J Ritt: Your rims are Nice. No offense, but they just don't do it for me. I kind of like a more "FLAT" spoke, vs the much more curved spoke of the 57-pro's. I also like the rivets you get with the 57F-PRO's.

TOPICSII: You will be the First to "Publically" install the new wheels.

Thanks in advance for taking pictures. I asked a couple dealers what the weights were for the rims, and none of them could tell me. They all said "Rim's are available but the weights are not" What the hell is that supposed to mean?

Before you mount them, Please weigh em. Tell us the fronts and rear weights.

Lastly, What offset did you order the wheels in? I looked at the offset table, and from Ray's website, it appears you cannot order the 18's in the "OFFSET A" column, only the OFFSET "B" column if you plan on mounting a big-brake kit. This sorta sucks, cause I want a PHAT Lip, but the offset "B" option gives a massive lip when you order at a 22-25mm offset.

Does anyone know how much the Gram Light 57F-PRO weight each?

The look almost like the Rays Track rims, except for the two piece look and fatter lip.

and a spoke short. the rays track rims are closest to the TE37, both having 6 spokes rather than 5. just a slightly different arc on the spokes.

I actually saw the wheels when i was in California running in D1. Then a month later i got a Z and called up my guy and put them on hold until i sent all the money for all the parts for my new D1 car. I only saw the 18x9 though, and it had a nice lip to it already. :) I dont know what column they are from, but i notice that you are supposed to run the B with brembos/big brakes. So i am almost positive they are from that column. And i think i have a +22 offset front and rear... I forget. But i wont be able to weight them without tires...

I should have them tommorow/thursday. They are 18x9 and 18x10, with 245/40/18 Yokohama ES100's front and rear. And i am not running the tps' either. So i will weigh them with the tires on and tell you what the weight is. Sorry i couldnt do it without tires. Knowing me, ill have the rear tires off by the weekend. So maybe i will be able to do it for you soon... :)

I placed order in June.

I ordered 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 in gunmetal. They should be here in late Sept. I will weigh mine before I mount the tires on and give you feedback.

Also TopicII are you sure about running B on front and rear. From what I understood from the manufacture and the shop, is that if you have large brakes (Front BREMBOS or equivelent) you run A. The rear rims are set B due to the caliper being smaller. If you look at the Apexi RX-7 they are running set A on the fronts and set B on the rears.

This is a note on the rim spec sheet:
"The OFFSET A in the size table denotes models matching big calipers of SKYLINE,
FAIRLADY Z (Z32, Z33), SILVIA, CELSIOR, SUPRA and RX-7. "

whoops, i meant A, i knew that the one column was for the "big caliper" cars... i assumed it was B for whatever reason... :)

Ok, got my wheels/tires today

18x10 rear with 245/40/18 yoko es 100
18x9 front with 245/40/18 yoko es 100
same tires front and rear... got 50lbs for front/rear

sorry i couldnt weigh them without tires...
