My iForged's Are Back!
 

FINNALY, my 19" FS-6s are back. I sent them back because one wheel was damaged in my little run in with a deer. The wheel held up pretty well but the edge of the lip was bet slightly, and air was able to slowly leak out of the tire. I decided to send all four back because I wasn't happy with the offsets. The fronts sat exatly where the stock wheels do, and the rears were ALL the way out.

All I can say that was the best thing that ever happened o these wheels. Vince gave me new outers for all four wheels, re-brushed the centers, and sent them all to their new paint shop (the place HRE uses) to have the WHOLE wheel clear coated (including the lips). Of course, the offsets were changed to +18mm front, +31mm rear.

I'll post pics of them on the car tommorow. While I was pissed it took iForged so long to get my wheels bac to me (were talking 3.5 months), they are far and away better than before, and Vince gave me a discount on the wheels. I'm fine with waiting if the quality holds up, and it appears it has, so I still give iForegd a thumbs up...just be prepared to wait, and e-mail seems to be their prefered form of communications as I could rarely reach Vince on the phone.

do the lips look as shiny with the clear coat on them?

Oh yeah, they look just as shiny.

They wheels are getting wrapped as we speak...ill have pics later this afternoon.

Yeah, they sent them to another shop so I didn't get them mounted until today. Apperently the SO-3s are a ***** to mount...it took the place 6 hours to mount my tires with the presure cranked all they way up to get the bead to set. Ill give you a crappy preview shot, but Ill give you better pics later.

yeah, the place that mounted my S_03s had a hard time and said they were the worse! (for mounting)

my Toyos weren't that hard to mount, interesting.

btw, I would love to see more pix of teh lip, it looks good in what I could see so far!!!

Dealer treats my car like royalty....park it out front after the service so i had like five people swooning over my car. When I unlocked it they all looked at me "this your car?!, nice rims man"
