370Z wheels on 350Z - add pics please
Ok,
I have been getting a lot of pm's asking me about recommended spacers to use when installing 370Z wheels on a 350Z. FRONTS.
350Z owners with 370Z wheels please post up MULTIPLE PICS and your front wheel spacer selection to add to this thread.
OEM 370Z sport wheels:
FRONT 19x9 +47
REAR 19x9 +30
i plan on digging through the threads and adding picks from them and linking those threads to this thread, but not today...
Thanks guys.

That being said - RE-read post 5-9 again!
you dont have enough GAP in your wheels to run that THIN/thickness (10mm) of spacer. a 10mm spacer means you have 15mm of OEM stud still sticking out, which means you need a GAP of greater that 15mm on your wheels "in-between" your lug mounting holes.
REREAD post 5-9 .....go outside and measure your wheels..... and then get back to me

-5mm yes. and yes.
best suggestion is for you to mount the wheels and measure to the fender from the "face of the wheel" then buy "that dimension" thickness spacer....(so long as it will work with your wheel gap - see post 4) and install on your car.
if you like it, cool........./the end...
if not, buy bigger or smaller, its an aesthetics thing for most peeps.......so im assuming so for you with out any further details given..

I went to the nissan dealership today to pick up his temp tag (my buddy just bought a Z yesterday) and i was looking at the 370's. I saw the window sticker saying something about "RAYS forged wheels". how could forged wheels (esp made by rays) be anything but light?

Like i mentioned before your best bet is to measure with the wheel on the car, get a ruler and measure off the sidewall of the tire to the cars fender line you wanna be "FLUSH" with.
From there order your spacers.
once again, if you get spacers that are 10mm, then that means your gonna be left with 15mm of oem spacer protruding past the mating surface of your spacer on a set of "spacers with studs" Thus, also requiring your work meisters S1's to have the GAP inbetween the lug holes
OR
your gonna need to pull your oem studs and install longer studs to install "spacers that require longer studs"

only thing i can figure that a set of spacers can cause vibrations is "INSTALLATION" if the spacers arent seated to the hub face due to the hub hole in the spacer being the wrong size, etc???
Where did you get the spacers?? are they for the Z?
do you have hubcentric rings...
ALSO:::
Remember, read this LINK BELOW -- if you are NOT using hub rings - you can have a misaligned/non-centered wheel mounted causing the vibrations...The issue here isn't the spacers but YOU and YOUR INSTALLATION!!!
