Do whatever you want at stock height...only the rear might/will need a roll.
Option 2 |
In this thread they are going to say go with the second setup haha. Only problem I see is the offsets too low for the width so will poke out too much. Possibly try 19x10+20 and 19x11+25 and could do a 285/30 front and 305/30 rear. Hope that helps.
|
Alright guys here's my setup need advice on tire
19x10 +15 front 19x11 +15 rear On stock suspension but will lower of course and will roll fenders as well. So how BIG can I go? |
As wide as you like depending on your suspension setup.

Well with those offsets they will stick out from the fender. For the front I say somewhere in the 255-275/30 range and for the rear 295-305/30.
For reference I run the following with KW V3 & SPL camber arms & links; HRE P43SC w/ Toyo R888 tires (Note: The R888 run big than from other brands.) Front: 265/30-19x9.5 +20 Rear: 305/30-19x11 +25 |
Damm Robert that is a sweet ride...so what do u think about 255/35 or 30 and 295/35 or 30?

Alright after playing with the calculator a little bit this is what I came up with
19x10 et 15 265/30 front 19x11 et 15 295/35 rear What do u think? |
Play a little more with the calculator...
Tire sizes (sidewall) should be within 3% difference front and rear. The set-up you chose is over 7% larger in the rear. |
Can anybody please help me out with that I'm having a little trouble
I don't wanna go too wide in front and would like to have a 295 out back |

Playing around with tire sizes. I think this is as big as I can go with these little front wheels. 18x8.5 265/35 18x10 285/35 (295/35 next)

With that being said I'm just gonna go 8.5 up front and put the 19x10's in the rear and I'll go with 255/35 up front and 285/35 or 295 not sure. |
Then do 10" +15 in the front. You will regret 8.5", I do...
What wheels are you looking at? |

That's better, but those tire sizes wont allow you to post in here... :gotowned:
You could go bigger. I would try 265 F & 285 R |
Lost me at xxr wheels.

Buying cheaper wheels for a cheaper car isn't that bad of an idea. Robert has HRE wheels on an 03 350z. How is selling that car for $30,000 going? Not everyone buys rims that cost half the price of their car.
|
Unlike me I'm broke as hell and can't afford 4000 dollar wheels

Funny because I accepted an offer of $25k w/o my HRE's but the buyer's finances fell through. I'm not going to get into the debate of knock-off wheels again. Everyone know my stance on them already. They suck and hurt the market. Lastly, my pricing my Z at $30k is to keep it out of hands like yourself. I marketed is at $30k for the buyer I think will keep it in good shape and treat it right. Not someone living paycheck-to-paycheck and buys cheap parts. |

Well ain't no need for that don't plan on wasting 6000 dollars on no type of wheels anytime soon unless I win the lotto and not everybody is as rich as you
Second; Don't have to win the lotto to afford HRE wheels. A lot of owners are not lotto winners. They are hard workers. Third; I am not "rich." I just manage my money better than you do. IE: I don't "waste" my money on XXR wheels or knock-off parts. :icon38: |
You did waste your money. I am assuming you spent a lot more than $30,000 on your car. Oh well no need to argue. I have stock wheels by the way. Also you should just buy a Porsche or GTR or something if you want to avoid cheap wheels. I can buy a 2003 350z for like 8k. You are going to have teenagers with them.

But not everyone here bought their cars used or feel that their cars are worth any less than what they paid for it. Just because it is worth so much on paper or X market value, doesn't mean it's worth less to the owner. I paid premium for mine brand new and barely have any miles on the car. I own well over 10k, just on wheels alone (multiple sets) not including tires. It is worth it to me but wouldn't make sense to someone who isn't as passionate about cars. |
Already people I'm almost out of rubber (Tires):icon8: and I need Moar aggressive stance. Alright, I got 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rear +12 offset all around. I currently have 245/275 I am thinking 265/30front and 295/30Rear. What are your thoughts on these sizes? Opinion and criticism is accepted.

265/30 & 285/30 or 275/30 & 295/30. Just a thought.
What specific brands/models are you looking at? |

It's entertaining to see these arguments here and not just the stretched tires thread.
|
It's the support of replica or cheap quick cash companies that ruins it for the legit quality manufacturers I guess. Doesn't really bother me much as I tend to swing back and worth between new high priced quality, cheap brands, and or used parts.
|
The brand I was interested in we're the Toyo R888s if not I'll just go for the same sizes but more comfortable like some Bridgestone PS2s.

I was just informed that my car was not supposed to be in the aggressive wheels and stretched tires thread so I will be more than happy to post my car in the aggressive wheels and fat tires thread!!!

I think is 265 minimum front, really no minimum rear since it will be wider than the front. |
