Question Will these fit

Hey, new to the forum. I recently bought an '04 Z touring. Buying new 19" rims and want to know what is the widest tire i can fit without rolling my fenders. Thinking of getting 19x9.5 fronts, and 19x10.5 rear +22 offset all around. Can i fit 255/295 or do I need to go smaller. Also want Continental conti-contact DW tires.

275/35-19 would be it, you may get licky with a 285/30 but probably not.

Just roll your fenders, simple and easy. The lip just moves so much clearance

Not a fan when the rear tire is outside the fender perimeter at the top of the tire/fender position.

Your front setup is perfect.

That's not really going to fit this thread either haha. Aggressive tires means wide tread width/bulging sidewalls. You're going to be a bit stretched on the 10.5 with a 275. For example, I'll be running 275 on my 9.5s

How about in the general Tires and Wheels section?

FYI, the parameters to keep in mind are 90% and 120%; that is, try to keep tread width within these ranges for a given wheel.

Using your rear wheels as an example:

0.90 x 10.5 = 9.45" or ~245mm minimum width
1.20 x 10.5 = 12.6" or ~315mm maximum width

Physically
(versus functionally), you can mount a tire outside of this range but performance drops off dramatically in either stretch or bulge situations outside of this range due to stress on the sidewalls outside of the tire's engineered range. Most good tire shops won't go outside of this due to liability issues. (And I wouldn't patronize any shop who does.)

Thanks for the info. The tires I want to put on are within those parameters. And I will check out the general tire and wheel thread. Thanks again.
