Question to those with Bridgestone S-03's

I just replaced the factory 225-45/18 front and 245-45/18 rear Bridgestone RE-040's on my Track with Bridgestone S-03's.

The shop where I had the tires installed (as many shops do, it seems) inflated them to the max of 51 PSI cold!!! :icon11: After a short drive back to my office they jumped up a couple PSI, and I lowered them to 40 PSI all around as soon as I stopped.

I am wondering what PSI S-03 owners have tried, and what you are currently running. I'm thinking I'll probably drop them back to the stock 35 PSI cold.

Thanks for the input.

Tire installers are idiots sometimes. Start at 35psi and adjust to your liking. It really doesn't matter what brand tire you have.

i run mine at 40 front and 35 rear cold, that's my liking

35 all around. The installers did the same thing to me and the ride was much harsher. I haven't seen any cupping at that psi, just even wear on all 4 tires.

at that pressure the centers would wear out very quickly! I keep mine at 35 all the way around. Any more then that the car rides very rough. Great tire though.
