___275's w/ 25mm spacers on stock rims___
 

The last few days I have seen and read some posts with people interested in seeing how aggressive you can get stock rims to look. Well this is what I'v had set on my car for the past 2 months. I dont get any rubbing while driving even though I have to say theres a bit to much side wall on these 275/40's but thats my fault..I would probably go 265/35 next time around just for looks and tread life.

275/40 rear
25mm spacers
Tein Basic coilovers( 1.5" drop on the rear)
-2 camber (ichiba camber arms and toe bolt)
fenders rolled half way to flush with the wall.

Please don't . you need a 9 inch wide wheel min for 275's and prefure a 9.5 to 10.5 for best handling.

To the OP 265/35's ? great front tire, if you have a 9 inch wide wheel. Its not a rear tire.

That doesnt even look like 2degrees of camber :thumbup: looks good.

I dont have nor do I want 265s on the front..I have 245/45 up front and 275/40 in the rear...and YES I already know that 275s are a little big for the REAR....but they fit just fine. If you properly inflate your tire and have the correct camber and toe that will ware well and last you...They just arent the most practical for stock rims.

Stock 18"s run 8" in front and 8.5" in the rear....I mentioned going 265/35 in the REAR not the front once I get new tires. Seeing as how all the photos I took were off the rear I just assume everyone knew I was featuring just them...not the front.

Obviously tire size gets to be personal preferance after a certain point. I wouldnt go any smaller then 285 in the rear if I had 10.5" wide tires. I want a little side wall with my rims..275s, which most people run on 10.5" wide rears dont usually have enough meat to the sides for my taste. Plus bigger tires help prevent curbbage since they stick out a little the rim wont be the first thing to hit, the tire will. YAY!

hes sayin tha 265/35 is completely the WRONG size for the rear. It will throw your VDC way off and you'll always get a slip light.

its more appropriate for the front as its closer to the stock size.

so your saying going 225/35 in the front and 265/35 in the rear would be a nono?

unless you want your car to look stupid , handle like crap etc etc.

How about 245/40 front 274/40 rear on proper wheels. 275/35 front 295/35 rear or any other great combo's. A great combo for your stock wheels is 245/40 front and 245/45 rear and for track 245/40 front and 255/40 rear.

+1. Perfect sizes, and will likely handle just as well as the pudgy 275's will which will flex and roll when pushed

does the 275/40's feel slushly on the stock wheels? by the way, you're better off going 265/40 over 265/35 so you're closer to the stock ratio..
