Issue with Volk GTC's...
I have had my GTC's on the car now for about 3 weeks. I used a wheel cleaner that is supposed to be safe with all wheels on them (I know NEVER use wheel cleaner) and now I have 2 stains on the fronnt wheels. I have tried everything to get the stain out. I've used Wenol, Chrome polish, Fine rubbing compound and nothing is working. Does anyone know what kind of coating Volk puts on the lip of their wheels. The stain isn't getting any larger or worse - whhich makes me belive that it is NOT a clear coat but maybe some type of Anodize coating. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Which brand wheel cleaner did you use? Were your wheels completely COLD? that makes a difference with these chemicals, they are safe for the wheels are long as they are completely cold.

Use simple green, and then wash and wax like you do on your car's paint. Try waxing the stains out.

Eagle One
I used Eagle One wheel cleaner and the car hadn't been driven in 2 days so the wheels were definetly cold. I have tried polish, rubbing compound, wax, etc.... NOTHING works. I really hate to dismount the tires and take apart the wheel to fix this. I really want to know what caused it so I don't go through this again. Thanks for your input.
