powder coat stock 06+ rims black
anyone do it? if so can you post pictures. I have a silverstone and want to know how nice it will look with the stock rims powder coated black

IMO man, i don't think black wheels look right on the sliverstone ( i have the same color),unless they have a polished lip. Gunmetal again IMO is the best color wheel for the silverstone!

arnt gunmetals very similar to the silverstone color? if i do get gunmetal what would be some nice taillight ideas?

A good reason to have your wheels powder coated is if you have curb rash. No extra charge to repair. I paid 80 per wheel and they did everything. I am very satisfied with the new look. Mine are satin black which is a semi gloss. It will hide imperfections and wear better than a high gloss finish.Tire shine is a must to make it really look good. Picture doesnt do it justice when its clean and has a fresh coat of tire shine.

One great thing about black wheels, regardless of them being powdercoated/painted or not, is that they dont need to be washed often. I hate how quickly the OEM silvers get covered in brake dust...
