Square Wheel & Tire Setup Questions
I'm going to be getting a killer deal on some volks that are 19x10.5 +22 all around and wrapped in 285/30/19. Are there any handling issues I might need to be aware of by running a wheel that wide up front? Overall what are your thoughts about a square setup? A huge advantage is that I can rotate the tires!! hahaha I'm going to be ordering coilovers, camber kit and camber arms this week as well to make any adjustments needed to support the wheels as well. Any input is appreciated, these wheels are super rare and I've only seen one other Z sport these for a short time which is why I wanna get these

im running 10.5 +22 all around. You can go with 255/35 up front and not rub after lowering it. 285/35 will not work when dropped, too much rubber. At stock height you can pretty much run whatever size tires you want up front.
right now im at 10.5 +12 with 235/35 and i pull/rub the **** out of my fenders when i turn. Then again im tucking rims up front lol.Lemme ***** up some pics to help you

what are the advantages and disadvantaged to running a square setup vs staggered.
is just more under steer or is a square setup more for a track or really just driving preference

@OP...
Many people run square set up for circuit driving because it makes the car more neutral with slight oversteer.
If it the offset was +30 you can mount a pair of 285's upfront.
+22's with 285's might cause some rubbing. You can either switch to 265 or get your negative camber set to -2.5 or something but this will give you a MASSIVE oversteer.
best option is to get 255 or 265's with some negative camber. Keep that pair of 285's as spares for your rear wheels.
a friend of mine has got an offset of +20 with 255's (stock camber setting) and the rubber is almost sticking out of the fender.

JPE22 lookin real sexy, Op its all personal preference like the guys are saying now square is better for the track but imo I like the way it feels on the street the car feels more nimble and steering input is faster, it makes an otherwise heavy car feel lighter.

For square
More Nuetral Handling
Can rotate
For staggered
More understeer
looks better(Rear sits more flushly)
can not rotate
For NT03
i run 275(9.5 with +27) front and 295(10.5 with +30) Nitto Invo
No rubbing without fender rolling
