What kind of tire setup would I get for that price? Like tire size? And define okay? Have you had any loss of performance?

I still haven't received my wheels yet. I'm getting 245/40/18 all around for a little stretch. Those tires are Achilles uhp tires. I haven't used them before but they have a lot of good reviews.

Does this sound right? All information welcome.
I got my wheels from Enjuku racing for $780 shipped (20" staggered) and my tires from discount tire direct for $520 (falken 452s 225/35 and 255/35)

if you're looking for the biggest drop and do not plan on going with coilovers....

i suggest the Eibach Sportlines. but believe me when i say...just save up for coilovers...its worth it in the end.

IF any one is interested in the 527's or 526's i found a stupid deal on them. Discounttires.com is having a sale on all XXR. 526's are down to 154 a piece tax free , 527's are down to an even better 127 a piece tax free without mounting and balancing plus 120 for shipping. Heres the better part. I had americas tire/discount tire price match them so i didnt have to pay shipping. So i got the 527's with tires (275/35) for 1030, mounted balanced and shipped to my nearest americas tire. Budget wheels ftw.

Good choice! Spring are almost the same price as coilovers if you buy nice struts also. How does that tire set up feel? I was just going to do 245/40 on all 4.

I do have vcd. From what I have read and seen, it shouldn't mess with it. People run 265/35 all around with no problems. Maybe I'm wrong???

^^Ya that's what I thought. Does it seem like the rear end wants to whip out easier accelerating through turns or corners? That's one thing that I thought I read.

meh... on my potenza's the rear stuck unless i wanted it out... on the cheapos i have now, it goes out if i go too hard... I would guess that a good tire choice is the real difference rather size but thats just me... I will be getting bigger ones next time around though, mainly for the look...

Default got my new wheels

I just got my wheels. I did a test fit and you definitely need hubcentric rings for these wheels. You also need them if you have spacers. Waiting to get tires and then I will post official pics. But for now...
