i could have told you that they would end up doing that, i had them ordered since january 2nd and ended up cancelling my order bc of that. They told me that at the end of january theyd be in and each time the date got close theyd push it back another month and so far it continues to happen each month.

well i got money to spend, but on far greater things like UTECS n Nos n clutches n what not, so I guess Im going to jsut be waiting n not cancelling.... Unless something else in that offset appears for less than four times the cost of the XXR... guess Ill be waiting til they ship... already paid.

I dont remember where I read it but I do remember seeing some specs on the 18X10.5 and the weight that was listed was 27lbs... From what I remember... I dont know if those were legit specs but I do remember reading them... I will try to find it again and post the link.... Im definately getting them... its the only rim that I like thats in my price range. I was quoted 740 shipped for 2 18X10.5 20 offset and 2 18X9 25 offset... also they said they would be releasing a 30 offset for the rears when they did arrive in mid April. I am still reading and trying to figure out how a 20 offset will look. I wonder if I will be able to fit a decent fatty tire on it or what....

yep
agreed..
no reason to buy XXR wheels if youre going small diameter.. theres tons of cheap otpions that are of far better quality and it really does make one HELL of a diffrence in the performance.. its the same idea as a LWFW... a little bit makes alot when youre talking about rotational dynamics and weight..
Im rocking these wheels PURELY for the fact that i have ( truly) ridiculous sizing needs... and its either these wheels or multipiece.. and i aint gota cheddar like that for a DD.
18's? Enkeis. fer sure.

oh btw XXR states the wheels are shipped and will be in by the 30th.. NLM has already started sending emails updating orders w dates.
I cant wait.. im sick of rolling 9.5 in wide rears on a widebody.. wasnt supposed to be like this.

yea
the 526 isnt a fake anything.. its an original design. I mean its a classic and popular design of course, but its not a Rota..
I think its funny how people dis the cheaper wheels for the wrong reasons tho.. i mean i wont defend them, but i will be honest about the shortcomings..
with this wheel the shortcoming is that the lip is only coated w SS ( but would weigh less than a full SS lip)
and the casting process can more easily produce a far less balanced wheel then a higher dollar spun formed or forged wheel..
So these will weight 8 lbs more than a set of WORKS VSXX and use more balancing stickers at the tire shop... and yes, not look as nice.. but you get my point.

I had the 006s (older version of the 526 basically) and they bent VERY easily. The car felt slow as hell with them on too. I never weighed them. I had 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with 15mm spacers.
Maybe they stepped up the quality. The offsets and sizes look better for sure. The lips on my old 006s bent easily and I drove carefully. What actually bent my lips was when I took them off to polish them once. I was using a buffer and the buffer wheel skipped and it bent the lip. It was pretty well padded too. A pothole at 35+ would have destroyed those wheels.
Someone offered to buy them from me a week after I dented the lip and I took the money and ran.

thats becuase the lip is only a SS cover stretched over a cast wheel beneath... i doubt you bent the entire structure w a buffer.
It is good info to know before you buy these wheels that the lip is not a steel half band like other true multipiece wheels.
The wheels will be heavy, but for 800 bucks..i still cant complain.. i can rock them for a year or two and probably still sell em for 450-500 bucks.
DOne deal. Still far better than the 9.5 in Axis i have now..
