Default What tire size?

After searching all day on this site and others as well as Google, I still don't know the answer to this.

I am looking at rims of this spec:

Fronts: 19x8.5 +35mm offset

Rears: 19x9.5 +35mm offset

The fronts I'm not real worried about. I'll run 245s or whatever. On the rears, though, I'd LOVE to fit 305s but I'm positive they wont fit this rim. But I don't want smaller than 295s. I'm gettin a good deal on these rims so I would like to know what fits.

Help?

I wouldnt be trying to put 295s ona 9.5 rim

my rim sizes are the same except for offset
im running 245 front and 265 rear
both front and rear are basicly neutral, ie not streched or fat.
so u could go 255fr 275rear or 285 rear maybe but 295 is asking alot

285/35 is wthe widest i would run. If your car is NA i would do 275/35's. Regardless i would order some better wheels than the junk you bought. Get your new wheels in 9.5 front and 10.5 rear with close to +20 offset if you want wide tires.

yeah you should look at some different wheels, those offsets suck even on a G35 sedan! If you want to go with wheels thats size you need offsets much lower than that. Something like a 19x8.5+15 and 19x9.5+15 would make for a nice setup without being too crazy for a first timer.

Is cost a driving factor for those wheels? Tell us what your limit is for wheels or wheels and tires and we'll make some better suggestions.

Hey thanks for the replies guys.

My car isn't NA. I'm running a Procharger with the "12psi" pulley setup (which actually makes 13.7psi at redline I found out when my wastegate hose came off on the dyno.) wastegated at 9psi.

I need a bigger footprint. I would suppose 275s or 285s will work for now. I'm not at any kind of wild HP #... yet. I can get these rims for cheap as **** and would like to make them work for now.

255/35 front and 285/35 rear is what I would run with some spacers.

If you haven't bought those rims yet, don't. Those offsets will not look good on a Z.

I looked the rims up on a z and thought they were pretty good... I am sure I can sell them for more than I paid if I don't like them.

Spacers... what kind/size? Why spacers?

wow will with those wheels at least a 20mm bolt-on spacer for the front and rear. besides you are more than likely going to need them for the wheels/tires to clear the suspension anyway.
