Sidewall repair?
So, I somehow picked up a large staple in my sidewall. This tire probably has less than 5k miles on it. Anyway to repair this? There are two tiny pin holes that leak air when it's removed.

patch will repair pin holes, but dont know how safe it will be if you drive hard and fast...

No shop will do a patch or plug in a sidewall... it's not safe broski.

This is an unfortunate spot. Of course you already know what to do with the tire.

I work at a Discount Tire here in my town. If it's in the sidewall or even too close to the shoulder. We probe it to see if there are steel belts in the hole to hold the plug. There's no belt in the sidewall, so it's impossible to do a safe repair.

dont
not safe to repair sidewalls

Op said his new tire is on the way. Basically problem solved.

Problem not solved. He still has a perfectly good tire that he is unable to use.
