Braelin Wheels?

2 Attachment(s)
I found these in 19" 8.5" and 10" with 25 offset. Not terribly aggressive, but comparible to F14s and TSW Nurburgring. They have more spokes and a lip as well, with the spokes arching or *hooking* down onto the lips. It's just a different look and they are concave as well. They cater to Mercedes and BMW markets, but offer Nissan fitments with a CB of 66.0 to fit without a hub ring. They are out of Canada..but I'm not sure if they're made there? What do you guys think?

HERE's the same car with TSW Nurburgrings to compare:

Looks pretty good imo

Looks are subjective, fitment is everything IMO 8.5 up front is too weak for a 350z, must be at least 9.5.
Wheels look good but a b!tch to clean b/c so many spokes.

Never heard of these wheels, but they look just like most of the new wheels that I am seeing from the newer companies

From what I have been told, most of the newer brands are all coming from the same manufacturer and are instead branded as something else when in fact they are nearly an identical wheel

I have heard good things about Avante Garde if you are looking for a replacement that is similar to your Forgestars

BTW, These are MONOBLOCK wheels..not cast. They are cut out of ONE piece billet.

"Monoblocks have less chance of failure due to fewer variables. Monoblocks consist of one piece whereas multi-piece wheels have more variances in parts (inner lip, outer lip, bolts, face, seals, etc...)

Monoblock wheels can handle more horsepower and torque vs. a cast or multi-piece wheel."

Those wheels are cast not Mono block forged, the only CNC cutting used is for the finish and bolt patter/hub bore. They're just another $300 wheel.

Correct. I'm not going to give the lecture that only Volk, Work, BBS, etc., are the only companies making good wheels, because I think that's BS. But, at least buy some wheels that have a known name, track record. and possibility to get a replacement, if needed. Ronal, Rota, Enkei, etc.

Seems like just another VMR/Linea Corse/Avant Garde budget wheel.

Waiz 04-19-2013 10:26 AM

I would bet that these wheels are not forged...

Like I said, they are probably made by the same company that is making alot of the newer brands coming out of the Miami area but labeling them as something else

All of the wheels are cast which is fine for a strictly street driven car but not ideal

Looks exactly like vertini wheels. All those concave wheels look the same now except with different "brand" center caps.

They're not Forged....but the info on the wheels does say *MONOBLOCK* design. That's all I know.

Phenom 04-21-2013 08:13 AM

I think they're using the term monoblock to simply point out that its a crappy one piece wheel instead of a crappy multi-piece wheel.
