Out with the blue and here comes the purple! Plus a motorcycle accident!
 

About a year ago i had a set of r-1 forged 3 piece wheels, had the centers powder coated a blue chrome color. The place that did it messed up the chrome lips so I bought new ones and made the wheels more aggressive. At first they were 19x10.5 and 9x9.5 after the new lips the rears were 12.5 with a 5 inch lip and the fronts were 11.5 with a 4 inch lip. Had some leaking problems on one front wheel and i believe it was from the tire shop not really knowing how to stretch tires. When i was driving the front passenger tire came unbeaded and broke the sidewall. So from there i decided it was time to sell them and get something else because i did want to ruin a 200 dollar tire again.
I was looking for wheels but only had about 2500 to spend. I am in college with no job and basically make all my money fixing apple products, jailbrekaing them and unlocking and occasionally other phones, tablets, laptops, and tv's. Never found anything i wanted so i was on craiglist one day and i guy had a 2006 cbr600rr for ale for 3700. I threw him a lowball offer of 2600 and he took it. So, instead of wheels I bought my first motorcycle at 20 on valentines day this year. Parents didn't like it even though my dad rode bikes his entire life and had multiple bikes including a honda 954, so i put it up for sale and sold it within a week for 4 grand. Back story of the bike which the parents still do not know is my girlfriend actually wrecked the bike. She was on a four wheeler and ran into me so i got all new plastics for it and made it like new. When i first got the bike it was all pearl white and the new fairings are white repsol honda racing fairings. This is why girlfriends aren't good 1200 bucks down the drain, and its not like i could have her pay for it so i had to bite the bullet :/ but everything worked out int he end.
So i knew now with more cash to spend i could get a set of wheels that really stood out. I had to purchase a set of wheels before i left on the 15 of august so didn't have a lot of time. I finally sealed the deal with a user on here for his Lusso forged deep concave ifmxi10. According to him they are the only set in deep concave ever made!! So they aren't on the car yet because I need to get tires and dont know what sizes i will get but think on going 275/30/20 and 245/35/20. Hopefully i will have tires before the Z goes up for the year but I'm in no rush and focusing on school mainly, a mechanical entering degree isn't easy!

Warning at the bottom of the thread are pictures of my ankle from the wreck on the bike. If you have a weak stomach id advise you not to look but they are that bad. BUT if you want to see the girl who did it you have to go through them first :D

Nice pick up. I was thinking of buying that wheel but I have blue car and I couldn't justify painting it.
