RPF1s or rs05rr's opinions & @$$h0les Welcomed

Looking for insights from anyone who has seen, driven, and or owned preferably both options. 18x9.5" square as I have always run, just looking for new avenues, mainly street-some tracking, but getting up in age, feel I have taken her to the track enough, and now make other builds for such pursuits.current wheels are beautiful, they just weigh too GD much, esp for being 18x9.5s as is
Advice welcomed once again.....gracias :icon44:

I've gone through 2 sets of rpf1s and just bought a new set. From what I hear, the rs055r is a more rigid wheel for track. Rpf1s are abundant and more easy to find if you're looking for used. Rs055 are more pricey as well.

Weds if you want to be different

My 9.5X18 rpf01s weighed in at 16.4 . DD, spirited driving, been quite happy w them and my Bridgestones.

I looked at the tc105s, they were literally twice the price. Superleggeras are pretty if you have 4k burning a hole.

Love my rpf1. Check out zilva for the rs055r. There is a few sets for sale. I think the rs are a little heavier then the rpf1?.

Or find some weds.(currently looking myself)

If you're not competing on the track a couple pounds of wheel weight shouldnt affect you. Get the one that LOOKS best to YOU.
As for your original question about what I think; personally i think rpf's are played out. rso5's would look very cool.
Make sure to post the pics when done.

Thx for the reminder, totally forgot about these!
Ive been thru literally dozens of sets, I often flip them or use briefly, esp when tracking a lot.
Have a nice set on the car now they just weigh so much and its too much unsprung wheel weight!

Where is the best place to order the WEDS through, I would consisder them....the answer is kinda straight fwd after thinking more, bc the cost savings=brake upgrade, or suspension on the other car!
