TE37 19x10.5 and off-set issues (WARNING! pictures of bent GTC's...RIP)
 

A couple of weeks ago I wrecked my Z, and I'm looking for some TE37's 19x9.5 +22 front and 19x10.5 +22 rear for my next 350Z... do they rub or not? Can’t find a definite answer in the search feature..

I was traveling at about 50mph when the road went from 3 lanes to two lanes (because of a construction) there's this guy who changed his mind about taking the left lane and took mine. He was way more slow than I so I hit the brakes but I still would hit him, so I went right again, only this time there was no road, only gravel... it was like traveling on ice... when I returned to the road, it was too late, the car skid to my right and went against a big concrete lane divider...the two airbags blew, and the car did a couple of turns while hitting other fences…etc.
Man these cars are very good in frontal accidents...

Anyway does anyone can tell me if I will have any rubbing issues with the rims?

are you selling the gt-c's? if so, what are the specs (size, offset, color)

I am pretty sure they will rub. If you go with a higher offset for the rear (35 I think) they may not, you will loose some of the lip though. On the front I would be a little concerned about going with a lower offset. It will push the wheel in more and you may interfere with the spring.

Your best bet is to go with the +22 and roll the fender's. You could probably have the body shop do it while they are fixing your car.

I know there have been many discusions on this before, and I don't think there is a definite answer. You could always try the +22 and roll the fender if they rub. With any drop at all I am sure they would rub, my 10" wheels with a +29 are very close with the Nimo S-tune drop, and your wheels will extend out an extra 13mm (almost a 1/2 inch).

I would go +22 and just roll the fender. The 10.5 and +22 is going to rub a bit. It's easy and quick, and pretty cheap.

Well actually they where the exact same size as yours, offset and color!... BUT just in case:
Mercury Silver
Front: 19x8.5 +27 Face 1
Rear: 19x9.5 +24 Face 2

I wouldn’t sell them to you, if you where absolutely sure you where interested in them. They are in a bad shape, don’t know if they are fixable… but if you are still interested for any other reason I could send you detailed pictures so you would take a closer look. Let me know.

atleast 2 of them are trashed, dont see how they could be salvagable without spending atleast their cost to get them fixed.

unfortunate, but can only be glad the car took the hit well.

I know I have seen people with 9.5" and 10.5" rims without issue. but the exact offsets that they had, Im not sure. and your would be running a thin line, youd need precise offsets to get by.

Running 19x9.5 +22 (F) and 19x10.5 +22 (R). Not completely sure since I had my fenders rolled before I got my wheels, but I do not think you have to roll if you keep the stock height. Looking at my setup now however makes it look like rolling is necessary if you do decide it lower.

I have a question. Why would you get 19x9.5 (f) and 19x10.5 (r) with 245 front and 275 rear if you can fit the same size tires on 8.5 front and 9.5 rears? It seems like it would add unnecessary weight to the wheels. I mean getting wider rims for wider tires is one thing but I don't get the reason for getting wider and heavier rims and the same tire size. Fill me in please.

I have 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 Volk LE37Ts... running 245/35-19 & 275/35-19 S-03 Pole Postions

And I have had it lowered (about half an inch all around) with RS*R springs....

after over 1000 miles, I've had no fender rubbing whatsever, no bottoming out and no other negitive issues. They fit fine on my car without rolling the fenders. I was surprised..but pleasantly so..

Because that stretched look, looks groovy man. I had a set of 19x8.5/19x9.5 GT-7s and I chose the wider LE37Ts because it gave me the look I craved....

I'll have pictures up soon.... my car is at Grubbs Infinity getting the ATI Procharger but I should have it back tommorow or tuesday....

Does it make it look all that much different with an inch wider rims? Is it worth the extra weight? It doesnt effect handling much does it?

It'll rub. Those who tell you that it won't, are fooling themselves because they made a very expensive mistake.
