Here's some good news....
I purchased some Silver Volk Racing LE37T 19x9.5 fronts and 19x10.5 rears from Jeff@Evolution (Thanks Jeff) and I'm using Bridgestone Pole Position S-03 245/35-19 fronts and 275/35-19s rear. The offsets on the Volks are +22 all the way around.
I then added RS*R springs (Thanks Adam@Z1) and a set of Nismo sway bars...... Needless to say, I was very worried I would need to roll the fenders. This is not the case. I have yet to have the tire hit the fender after around 1000 miles and I have purposely tried to do so. The springs lower the car nicely and this combination of springs, swaybars and wheel/tires makes for incredible handling that rivals my '03 Z06 (maybe a hair better in fact). I am very happy... :p |

Mike,
I'll be taking some pictures of my Superblack as soon as I get it back from Grubbs either tommorow or tuesday. It's there getting the Procharger installed. |
How much did the springs drop the car front and rear?

please post pictures for us! thank you. |
isugoo,
I can't wait to take them....heh |
probably the smaller than possible tread. I dont know if youd have gotten away with 275 in front and 295 in rear, but all of us are fitting 245/275 on the 8.5/9.5 rims. being on a wider rim would only make them slightly wider farther towards the bead.
maybe next time you can try the larger tread and see if it will still clear. Im thinking not though:p |
No, really... even though though I could have gotten 285s or 295s on the back, I absolutely love the rounded look of the tires on these rims. And believe it or not.... the 10.5" wheels with the 275s looks like the tire is wider too (I put them side by side and compared them). All I know is, I've been lucky not to have any fender issues and I love the way this car handles with my set-up...
