315 tires
I know maybe someone posted something similar, but I haven’t be able to find it. I'm thinking about buying stance sc8 20” staggered wheels, 265 front +35 and 315 rear +40. Will this fit on my Z without rubbing or fender rolling? Thanks for reading.

"Standard" performance fit: 18 (or 19) x 9.5 Front and 18x10.5 Rear both with offsets between 15mm and 25mm. Tires to fit those 245/40-18 F 275/40-18 R OR... 255/285. (19s will use 35 aspect with those widths)
Now, that said, YES, you can fit wider wheels/tires. 305 out back is about the largest you'll see mentioned on a regular basis. 315 are maybe doable. But I'm 90% sure you won't fit 'em without at least a minimum of some type of fender work, rolling at minimum, overfenders/cutting at the other end. Going to depend on wheel width, offset and yes, inner fender and suspension clearances.
Also, that drastic of a tire width stagger, even if you get the diameters right, is going to lead to some questionable handling traits with a bias towards adding even more understeer to an already understeery pig.
So my next question: WHY? On the street, there's absolutely NO NEED for tires that large. No benefit beyond swag. Performance will even start to drop off once you get to a point of diminishing returns, usually somewhere right around 285 rears for several reasons: You're probably going to camber it way beyond practical to make it work AND you'll NEVER get those gumballs up to proper temps for any real performance work.
I advise you to root around the Tire&Wheel section some more to see what's what.
