Wheel setup
Right now I have stock 17 inch wheels with stock suspension and stock height. I’m going to get new wheels but my question is, should I go up to 18 inch wheels or stay with 17 inch wheels?
Im currently looking at 17x9.5 +22 and 17x10.5 +22,
should I make it 18x9.5 +22 and 18x10.5 +22

I would look through some of the wheel and tires thread for pictures of a setup you may like.
It depends on your goals for the car. 17 inch wheels will be lighter than 18 inch. But then you have to factor in a higher sidewall, which usually means more 'resistance' when cornering, etc...
IMO 18 inch wheels have the best tradeoff for looks and performance.

I would do 18's for a better tire selection

I run both 17” and 18” wheels.
- 17” wheels will have a taller sidewall for the same width tire and will thus provide a slightly softer ride (tire compounds being similar).
- You have a larger selection for snow tires in 17” wheels.
- Quality 17” wheels weigh less than the same grade in 18” wheels.
- There is a broader selection for both wheels and tires (performance tires) with 18” wheels. That is especially true when you shop for wider wheels and tires.
- Most people believe 18” wheels are the best compromise of handling, appearance, and selection.
