I was reading some threads about corner weighting.

i have flex and 19" wheels

should i have my car corner weighted to rebalance it???

if so, how do i do it / where do i go to have it done?

i dont think i know what i am talking about so thanks for your patience

are you road racing the car? if so, by all means..if not, I would not be bothered at all.

Any good road race shop will have the expertise to do this for you..talk to your local SCCA guys and see who they use.

Well if you went out and bothered to research it a bit and if your willing to take it to task, I'd do it, especially given how much you just spent on your suspension, besides the Tein flex has the ability to adjust ride height and not sacrifice suspension travel, it's not like you have Tein basics which don't have that feature (hmmm some people harp about that on the Basics).

Now, what I'd like to know, Tein has recommended lowering settings for each appication. On the coupe with the flex system that amounts to -1.5" front and -1" rear. It would be interesting to see what a corner weigted coupe get's set to vs those recommened settings from Tein. Knowing Tein, the coupe just looks best at those settings :p

In case it helps you, here's some info you may or may not have read on corner weighting.

And here's the URL for a SCCA forum www.sccaforums.com
Run a search about corner weighting and see what come's up. If you don't find any info about shops in your area that can do the service, register and do a post requesting that info.

Hope thats of some help to you.

Z1 - I autox sometimes but i am not serious about it. There is something about great handling that brings a smile to my face - Thanks for the info.

Gsedan35 - thanks for the link. I will check with my local blue ridge region scca to see what everyone thinks.
