High quality, light lug nuts (brands other than Ray's)?

I really really really wish the search function was working here. There is so much stuff that I wish I could find that I remember from one or more years ago. Heck, I'd donate to get search working again.

Ok, that said, lug nuts. I keep looking around the net and the three brands of aftermarket lug nuts I read about are basically Ray's, Muteki, Kyokugen. I really don't want black or colored lug nuts, so it kind of rules Ray's out. Muteki seem OK, but I hear mixed things. Kyokugen I kind of hear the same. Are there any other brands or any kind of prefernce people have? I know that the light weight stuff can be stripped with impact tools, they won't be touching my wheels. The garbage chromed lugs I got with my Axis wheels are just that, garbage. I want something that won't disitengrate every time I take them on or off. I guess push comes to shove I will get black lug nuts, but I would prefer an aluminum or chromed/polished/anodized look to them.

Thanks for any input anyone might have.

I just got these McGard/Motegi racing lugs. I got black, but the link is for the chrome ones. They seem to be fairly high quality

I believe 5Zigen just released a set in various colors.

I have McGard lugs too. They are fine and will do the job.

I read some stuff talking about Mcgard's stripping, breaking, etc. Seemed to be some bad results, no problems for you all?

I could see them stripping if used improperly with impact guns or if overtorqued.

I had some different McGards (tuner lugs) before these, that I got from the tire store. They rusted a little and a couple of them stripped out. But then again, with track days and auto-x, I swap my tires out quite a bit.

I am looking for something like that but a gunmetal color, or lighter silver, they say those are Titanium colored, but sure looks black to me.

Argggh, my search continues

I like the open ended ones better!

Are the Trust lug nuts steel or aluminium? I need steel ones.
