Where did you get these # from? I never see 10.5 +38 before, but I think you should be fine with these offsets. If 10.5 +22 wont rub with stock height, then +38 should not be either.

Whoa! +38 in the rear will bury the wheel. Like HaNkYs_Z said, +22 looks best. Try not to go higher then +29.

sorry for being such a newb, but what size lip do you get with a +22? I tried asking a vendor on this site but the @ss won't respond to my PMs. and then you say to not exceed +29... what size lip does that give? (I can't believe I'm so clueless about wheels... :( )

Every models are different, for LE and TE 19x9.5 +22 you get about one inch lip with concave look and for 19x10.5 +22 you get about 2.5 inches with concave look. Like for my offsets, 19x9.5 +12 I get the same looks and lips as the 19x10.5 +22. But like I said every wheels are different, I only know about LE and TE, b/c I got one. And also the reason why they tell you dont exceed +29 is b/c it will look too tuck in, plus those are the offsets that Volks recommended for Z. Hope this help. So what wheels are you looking for?

On every wheels the lip designed are differently, there is no way that I can tell how big your lips are going to be unless I see it in person or someone else go with the same setup. But for most of those wheels I that saw with 19x10 all got at least 2.5 inches lip, I will expect yours to be about 3 inches in the rear and about 2 inches front, but this is just my guess.
