350Z on 17" RPF1's at SoCAL Costa Mesa Subi Show...

Here are some pix of my car and some others at a Costa Mesa California Subaru WRX STI get together at a dealer there... ENKEI and some other venders were representing...
These wheels were put on my car for the event (very hard to get wheels on my car with it being so low). These were on a S13 before... The ofset is good for the Z... But I would have liked to put more rubber on the rear! 17x8.5 +30mm 245/40/17 17x9.5 +18mm 255/40/17 |

I should have adjusted my front suspension lower... since these tires were pretty much the same diamater front and rear (unlike my wheels where the rear diamater is a bit taller then the fronts) my rears are at full slam while the front it not... with my wheels and tires it sits level... with this set up, the front needed to be dropped a bit more...

my car was soo low with these tire diamaters i couldnt get my foot under the side skirts!!!!
but... the smaller diamater (final drive change) made exceleration even more wicked! |

wow, they actually dont look small for 17's...looks good. i like the light silver contrast with your dark car. humm, gets me thinkin i could use some track rims. can you get 18x9 and 18x9.5's? if so, how much please?

Im thinking of going 17x9 all around with 265/40/17 rubber... http://www.performancenissanparts.co...th=416_768_770 the R34 next to me was running the same size tire but in 18... and it looked HUGE width wize.... $285 each wheel for 9.0 $295 each wheel for 9.5 but... PM me and ill work out a good wheel/tire package with rubber...*track rubber if needed* |
