You can run that tire configuration, but I wouldn't. The rear diameter is too big. It's a little over 27"... I'm only considering it because of the width of the tire. Plus I'm trying to go for a little beefier look.
Why not just go 245/255 35's all around? This would be much closer to stock.

Im running the same setup as Karamag .... well rims and drop that is .... for now I have toyo ts1 255/275 setup. The rears look fine, but next time I am going for 295 or 305s

I need your opinions...
These are the setups I've narrowed it down to.
295...
Continental ContiSportContact 2
Front 255/35/19__10.3 wide__26.1 dia.
Rear 295/30/19__12.2 wide__25.9 dia.
Yokohama AVS Sport
Front 255/40/19__10.3 wide__27.1 dia.
Rear 295/35/19__11.6 wide__27.1 dia.
285...
Continental ContiSportContact 2
Front 255/35/19__10.3 wide__26.1 dia.
Rear 285/35/19__11.1 wide__27.0 dia.
I am choosing NOT to drop my Z. So I must live with a gap if I choose 35/30's. The only solution to this, and it may not work, is to go Yoko AVS 255/40 in front and 295/35 in back. I'm just not a 100% the 27.1 dia. in these widths will work?
Below are examples of both setups...I increased the dia. of the front tire on the BR and raised the SS to a stock height in photoshop...tell me which do you like better?

I think that because you're not going to drop your car, you might not want to go with the 30's. Stock the car sits pretty high (I have the Tein S-techs and didnt realize how high it really sits stock untill i put them on). Personally, I'd go with the 285/35s from Conti. Originally I wanted to get the 295's, but the tread width jump from the 285s to 295s was way to big. Almost 1 inch for only 10 mil? Somethings not right there. The fronts on the other hand could be a bit wider. I think if Conti made some 265/35 fronts they would have the perfect setup for me.
I wish the camera would hurry up and get here so i could take some pictures for you. The owners (of my work) son has it, and he's pretty flaky as it is, but I'll just keep my hopes up that he'll bring it in today.

Thanks DRCold.
That's why I'm also considering the Yoko AVS 295... It's 11.6 inches wide and has beefier profiles. Problem is, their 255/35 is going to look very thin in comparison. If it's possible I might go 255/40 in front. It would be even looking then... look at my numbers for the Yoko's above and you'll see

265/30ZR-19 $283 each
295/30ZR-19 $302 each
Front 265/30/19 - 10.4 width - 25.2 dia.
Rear 295/30/19 - 12.2 width - 25.9 dia.
So the stagger should be correct at .5"
I can't get over how long the wait for the wheels is going to be! The tires will be in Friday, but I still have 4-6 weeks to go...

Not to mention a 30 profile on a 19 inch wheel will make your wheel gap look bigger then with a 35 profile. I realize your wheels are a little wider then what people usually get, but not enough IMO to warrant the smaller profile.

Umm wrong size? How?
OEM front tire size:
225/40/18
Sidewall: 3.5"
Radius: 12.5"
Diameter: 25.1"
Circumf: 78.8"
Revs/mi: 804.0
ContiSportContact front tire size:
265/30/19
Sidewall: 3.1"
Radius: 12.6"
Diameter: 25.3"
Circumf: 79.4"
Revs/mi: 798.0
0.7% difference... well within the recommended 3% of stock size. This little amount will not affect ABS or VDC and won't even be noticeable on the speedo.
OEM back tire size:
245/40/18
Sidewall: 3.9"
Radius: 12.9"
Diameter: 25.7"
Circumf: 80.8"
Revs/mi: 784.0
ContiSportContact back tire size:
295/30/19
Sidewall: 3.5"
Radius: 13.0"
Diameter: 26.0"
Circumf: 81.6"
Revs/mi: 777.0
1% difference in the back...
As for the gap, the new tires are .1" bigger than stock/OEM and coilovers will take care of that nicely. I have seen the Luftbahns installed on a 30 profile and it fits the style of the rim perfectly IMHO.

Your sizes are wrong as pointed out above. The correct profile to get with a 19 inch wheel is 35. There are people who have gone wth a 30, and most of them have problems. I will give you that SOME have gone problem free. The 30 profile is correct for a 20 inch wheel on the Z.

Doh...sorry about the mix-up with the stock size. Wish you had been around pre-purchase! Damn tire-rack... But I can still refuse the shipment tomorrow when they come in.. I'm in no rush.
How about the recommendation from above:
Continental ContiSportContact 2
Front 255/35/19__10.3 wide__26.1 dia.
Rear 295/30/19__12.2 wide__25.9 dia.
Board member Karmamag is running this set up, but the front is larger in diameter... and the rear is still a 30 profile. His pictures from page 1 of this post look good as far as the rear gap goes.
Thanks in advance...
