Lookie what the good rim/tire fairy brought me today...
Hmmm...wonder what's inside the bag??? :icon8:
http://members.cox.net/furniturepage/Tires01.jpg Dude...that looks like a set of ADVAN A032R tires  http://members.cox.net/furniturepage/Tires02.jpg It is!!! It is a set of ADVAN A032R tires!!! Right on!!! :D http://members.cox.net/furniturepage/Tires03.jpg Oh, those rims are gonna look sweet on your Brickyard!!! :icon9: http://members.cox.net/furniturepage/Tires05.jpg Hell, I'm just happy to have an ACTUAL set of racing rims separate from my daily drivers. This is gonna be SO friggin' nice. I can't wait to try them out on the track this weekend!!! Just in time... :icon19: |
NICE!

What rims are those? They look great!
Asterix |
wow, awesome choice on the wheels and especially the tires...
|
looks like a 17x9 bronze MB Motorsports Weapon...a Discount Tire Direct exclusive wheel. :)
Enjoy...looks great! http://www.discounttiredirect.com/pr...wea.br.ang.jpg link to MB wheels |

they are muy inexpensive-o might hafta consider getting a pair! |
r-compound, sweet!
|
That is awsome price
Let me know how they work. I am considering new 17 inch wheeles for next year.
I the offset +27? or what did you get? Ray |
NICE!
How I wish those would fit over the Brembos. |
put them on already! :)
how much do they weigh? they look like a great rim/tire combo for the track |
Oh, it is a great package for the track. At least for me. They look good and run great.
The ADVAN's stick like crazy, too!!! NO PROBLEMS what so ever. Bye-bye understeer... http://www.balzx.com/del/images/phot...s/IMG_0693.jpg And, no issues with VDC or ABS or anything either. Aside from the 17" size, I don't see why these wouldn't fit over bigger brakes either. There is PLENTY of room between the spokes and the calipers. Just not the rim itself. But, I have tested both track BREMBO and stock running HP+ and Hawk Blue. The later works better anyhow. So... Here's a better color shot with Brickyard: http://www.balzx.com/del/images/phot...s/IMG_0238.jpg Nonetheless, I'm glad to have my 18s back on. Not use to that "low rear end" feeling. Especially in the turns with a full tank of gas... |
nice tires!!
|
where did you purchase those tires?
|
I got everything from Discount Tire...mounted, balanced and heat
cycled. Picked them up from the store, wrapped and ready to go. Granted, I did want to try the new Hoosiers instead. But, they do not stock them at Hoosier West. And, I didn't have the ability to wait for them to ship me a set from IN. So, I went with these instead... VERY GLAD THAT I DID!!! |
also, are the wheels cast of forged?

( ) At that price??? They are light(er) than most. I think 40-something with tire.
( ) Muy INexpensive, for sure!!! ( ) Yes, get some. ( ) 255/40/17 tire. ( ) 60AA - but felt like 40. ( ) I'll let you know. First event wasn't too bad. Like I said: I HAD NO REGRETS!!! :D I still prefer the 18" for higher speeds, though. Plus, they match the door handles... http://members.cox.net/patrickmichael/350Z/39-08.jpg |
they look sweet dude.. good choice
|
