I like the custom fiberglass hatch. Good first try
Thats the first fiberglass part i ever made.... since then ive made the hood and doors, quality is WAY BETTER. The hatch is so big that i really dont feel like re-making it.... although it could probably be way lighter and nicer looking if i did... its functional and thats all that matters if i recall correctly it weighs 17lbs with the lexan and brackets. I have a thread in the motorsport section if youre interested.

Pretty much looks like the bumper replica I made about 12-13 years ago of a rare bumper before body fill was added, but I'm assuming it was just made for the weight savings....the stock hatch is heavy AF
After that I learned taking a mold then taking the mold of the mold is much much easier. Wax surface 6x with bowling alley wax(some sort of wood wax) and the fiberglass will peel right off.
