Dynorun Austrian MY2007
hi guys!
my name ist thomas, i am from austria (europe) and i have a big problem with my car ...
last week i dynoed my car on a maha lps 3000 (the undisputed reference in europe) and had only 298 ps (= 293.92 hp) and 215,5 ps on the wheels (= 212.06 hp hp) ... stock-perfermonce should be 313 ps (= 308.72 hp)
here are the sheets (run was done in 5th gear)

and some car-infos:
- completely stock
- 16.500km
- fuel 100 octane (shell v-power)
as you can see on the second sheet (last row) the throttle body closes with increasing rpm ...
have you ever heard about such problems or anything else?!
thanks, thomas
PS: excuse my bad english

its prolly just a low reading dyno, take it to the track and if you're trapping at 102 to 104 your fine, sometimes when weather conditions are really good (read low da) you wil trap even higher than that.
as far as the throttle body closing at high rpm, thats normal, all 07+ z's are like that. there is supposed to be a reflash coming out soon to fix that though

It doesn't make any sense. I assume that the 293 horsepower is measured at the crank, meaning it is all engine horsepower without powertrain loss. And then you present the 212 horsepower at the wheels? That is a large difference between crank and wheel horsepower. Maybe it's the dyno?
I agree with warmmilk, take it to the 1/4 mile strip and post up your time-slips.

jep, the 293hp is measured at the crank ... hmmm, i see ... i have to qo at the quartermile or on a dynojet ... by the way in germany and austria dynojet measurements are very disputed, because their results are to high ... about +15% ...

i got a question.....it may be irrelevant to your dyno but why are you using 100 octane? now i think that your country follows the other octane grading system. so using 100 octane would be useless wouldn't it? since 98 over there is 93 over here.
