well the arc is a name brand. Along with it's name and beauty comes a hefty price tag.
physically the arc one is at 45mm while the aspec one is 46mm and at 50mm.
they reach 2 different markets of people. the arc is usually for those who do not worry about dropping that much on a shift knob. many won't do it because shift knobs are just stylish components that perform the same duties irregardless of price and arc is one of the most expensive one's out there. (i personally love arc and tho i can't afford it, i save and save so i can).
