If you are a skilled driver, and have winter tires you have a chance in the snow. But the 350z is not meant to be driven in the snow since it is RWD.

+1 on that. Drove mine all winter long in the snow with stock potenzas, drives normally

*J/K* HORRIBLE unless you have good winter tires. I got stuck one time in less than an inch of snow, just put it away or get good tires. +2

Any car can be driven in the snow if you know what you are doing.

My G35 is my daily driver and it handles well in the snow. I have not 1) been stuck, 2) wreck or 3) slide off the road. I'm using the Avon M550 A/S and I do not have any complaints (I'm sure winter performance will be better with a dedicated set of snows). You will be fine with either a set of Good A/S or a set of winter tires (the only thing that will limit you is the ground clearence). I think the majority of the horror stories come from those who use PERFORMANCE TIRES in the winter.

Absolutly,
I've driven everything from my old suby, and folks awd volvo to my neighbour's GT3 (No joke, it's just one of his "daily driver's"...) in snow, slush and ice covered surfaces....
What your driving dosent matter, it's how you drive it.

With appropriate shoes Snow tires in the snow are a must. You wouldn't wear your track shoes out in a snow storm would you? Seriously, the last CO trip we had was in a BMW with Dunlop snows and it was fine. A Z w/snows will be fine, not amazingly great, but it will do just fine if you keep your wits about you.

I had fun in the snow, we've been having a great winter. Not too many expected instances of snow blizzards

I'm seriously considering getting those headlight armor covers. If I take the kit to a window tint place can they do this for me? Or would you recommend someone else?

thx

Are you using OEM 17" wheels? If not, where did they come from? Can you put them on with the locator pins? I don't want to remove my pins, which is what I need to do if I get Tire Rack wheels. Do they have Tire Pressure sensors? I'm looking to next winter, but want a separate set of tires/wheels for winter. My '06 (I'm picking it up Friday) stock wheels are 18, but 17 makes more sense for winter. BTW, how are the Blizzaks when the pavement is dry?
