Default bubbling door handles and warranty

My guys, My 05 Z has 37,061 miles on it and has bubbling door handle problem on both driver and passenger side. The dealer ship that I took my car said they will not cover it because the car is out of warranty , but isn't there a goodwill clause or something for this??? Is there a Nissan phone number I can call?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Out of Warranty? When did you buy the car? Its a 3 year, you should be good until 2008. Even if you bought the car in December 2004 you should be covered until Dec 2007.

I am going to assume this problem was evident prior to the last 1061 miles? The time to start looking at possible warranty items starts at 35,000 miles so you make sure it is covered. You can't give Nissan even the hint of a loophole, they are the absolute pros at getting out of warranty work. Goodwill clause? Yeah right!

Bad paint. Not a common problem, but I have heard of it.

The warranty is what it is. Of course you can contact Nissan, but they will tell you the same.

It's not paint. The door handles are plastic with a thin aluminum laminate on them. The adhesive on the laminate is failing, causing the bubbling. My '06 is also doing this.

Perhaps a perfect opportunity to make your car look a lil bit different, starting with the door handles.
