Went to see the 06's Today
 

Dealer had 7 05's on the lot, and not one was an 06. I inquired when they would be getting them in, and they said they won't get them in until around December time frame, and they really need to sell the 05's before the 06's get in. I told them some dealers already have them, their answer was, we don't get them until all of our 05's are gone. What morons!

I really want to see the Interlagos Fire! Anyone have any high def. detailed pics?

I'm not going to start....but just a suggestion. You might wanna modify your post and add the line "Flame suit on". I have a feeling it's not going to be pretty.

In the sticky thread by Jason@Performance there are lots of pictures of interlagos fire. They looked pretty good res. Unless you've already seen them and are looking for some big time kazillion mega pixel images.

Flame suit for what, for not searching? I posted about how dumb my dealer is! I haven't seen any up close pics of the Interlagos Fire!

BTW, the dealer said I should buy their last Performace Model! Said it would be a one of kind! They had cheezy Nissan chrome wheels on it, and stickered it up $1600. I had to laugh!

Yeah, saw that, man that color looks brown in one pix and cherry in another! But does it have Pearl in the paint, I think it does!

I was told it had three metallic coats that's why it cost $500 extra. I think the brown is just the picture.

The flame suit was because in your headline you said you went to see the 06s. So here we all come in with hopes of pictures, your opinion, excitement, yadda yadda

And yes, while your headline is correct as you "went to see the 06s" as in you went in hopes of seeing the 06s, it is still cause for people like me to come in and look, and then be dissapointed, and then follow up with commensurate flame

i dont understand what all this sh1t about zand needing his flame suit for.

he didnt promise anything in his thread title, he said he went to see them, he told a story that happened when we went to see them, and then asked for better pics of the color he is interested in because all the pics on the site display the car in different colors (though they are supposed to be the same).
if you came into this thread with hopes of reading anything other someone's story about going to see the 06s, then that's your fault, not the posters, he didnt promise anything in thread title other than a story about going to see the 06s. as for the attempted flame for not searching and check the sticky, obviously, he checked the sticky, and was looking for someone that represented the color a bit more truely.

i dont understand why lately people have being trying to flame people over nothing, wtf?

zand, that sucks for your dealer that they're not going to get any 06s until the 5s leave the lot... i think it would be even easier to sell the 5s when you have 6s on the lot, you could sell people down easier that way, but with only 5s on the lot, its a hard sell when people know the 6s are out...

Lots of dealers will hide the new models to try and make you buy the older ones. Did you walk around to see if they had any in "back".

Uhm, yeah, they had one all covered and stickered up. It was a 05 Silverstone Roadster, :(
