have such cheap stuff? I found on exhaust there that costs 100 bucks less than anywhere else. Plus, it ships in 5-7 days....all other vendors have to outsource it from japan? how is this possible?

I wouldn't trust them, they never have anything in stock... and are not authorized dealers for the vendors they carry.

I ordered my Tanabe GF210's from them because they are closer to me than the east coast shops. I could have gotten them cheaper on the east cost but wanted them as fast as I could get them without paying for handling. Still took 7 days

ordered my sideskirts from them. It was a monday when I ordered and said I'll get it friday. Took an extra week, with no calls. I even called on Thursday and said they will have it 'tomorrow' meaning friday. friday came and no call no part. Cheap, good quality product but unprofessional. Ordered rest of my stuff elsewhere. sp engineering was awesome to deal with. bulletproof guys are great professionals, but no leeway on pricing.

It boils down to customer service and buying from people that know what they are selling. Hopup just ****** out the prices for volume, I know on stuff that can be purchased directly from the manufacturer that are making like 10 bucks on an 800 dollar sale.

It's not a very legit operation...I think it's out of some guys garage. They list our products on there and we don't do business with them so...

I just ordered a set of Tanabe GF210's from them. I was a little reluctant to order from them because of all the negative feedback on this forum but I figured I didn't even need them for a week or more so wouldn't mind waiting for a good deal. And MAN was it a good deal. $169 for the springs and free shipping! The closest I found elsewhere was $189 + $35 for shipping so that is a huge savings.

That's all well and good but guess what? I've already received a tracking number. The springs where shipped within hours of me ordering them. The free shipping means it will take till next week to get to me but like I said I don't need them right away.

Anyway. I felt I should post my positive experience along side the negative posts.

i ordered my Greddy full lip kit from there and it took me 7 weeks to get but their service was great concerning phone calls and tracking and everything, also when i did get it, it came in good condition with no major cracks or dents or anything. but i dont complain that it took a long time cause every other single site i called didnt have them in stock either. if you do order something from them just dont listen too much to when they say itll come in cause they told me 2-3 weeks to come in.

I have ordered stuff from them before with no problems. I am sure every on-line shop has its horror stories.

for rule of thumb, stick with the manufacturers recommened authorized dealers (the ones listed on the manufacturers website, or a phone call helps). Usually manufacturers keep close tabs with all their dealers, and want to make sure these dealers continue to provide excellent service. I don't think Hop Up is direct with many manufacturers.

I ordered a plenum spacer a few days ago from them. Said it'd be here wed, but it's now friday. A few days wait is no big deal, as long as my part arrives in peace. They forgot to order the part and they put the order in when I called the 2nd time.
