Does putting high octane really make a difference? Anyone know if our ECU will even catch the fact that the octane is higher than average?

There is not a sticky thread at the very top of this forum on this very exact topic. I promise.

The question should've been, who doesn't use high octane (premium grade) gas in their Zs. It is despicable to see how folks come up with their own "method" of filling up with premium every so many fillups and using low-grade normally.

If someone can't afford $2-$3 extra every time they fill up your Z, I urge them to kindly sell it and let it breathe a sigh of relief.
