My personal record was around -20mph when I got chased by my ex-gf. What about yours?

I went through a Texas DPS state trooper high speed driving course and I won the backwards slolom exercise. I believe I went around 25-30 backwards in a Crown Vic around cones! That day was a blast!

hahahaha ....i actually never look at the speedo when in reverse....things tend to come from behind quickly when I'm not looking :)

I'm not sure I wasn't looking at the speedo. Reverse is a lot louder than forward gears thats all I can say heheh..

LOL tell us more about that. did you do some james bond moves and pull a quick 180 spin and took off?

it was in an empty parking lot. Once i put a distance on her backing up my car, i was able to drive away quite easily

About 20 (i think) wile doing a reverse 180 "james bond move" .It was fun but i need more practice. I got board at about 2 in the morning, after watching some older fith gear video on the web. I got to do it twice but my girlfriend freaked out and told me no booty if I do it again...needless to say I didnt do it again.

isnt bad for the tranny to max out in reverse

what was she doing? threatening your car or something?

About 40mph... Reverse is taller than 1st gear.

Ditto, and I didnt even touch the gas.

uh reverse is shorter than 1st. so probaby 30 or 35.

3.794:1 --> 1st gear.
3.446:1 --> Reverse.

How about spinning out of control after hydroplaning on the 836 eastbound "drifting/sliding" on both sides and after over correcting, sliding backwards at about 60mph. Luckly my skills from Gran Turismo allowed me to swing it back around and gain control again.
