Question about the 350Z windows - NEED HELP

...hey guys, I know this will seem like a silly question, but if you could take 5 minutes to go look at your windows when you open and close the doors it would help me out. I just got my windows tinted and I just now decided to pay attention to how far down the window automatically goes down when you open the door. My passanger side seems to go down about twice as much as the driver's side. The driver side seems like it just barely clears it. I honestly don't know if this is how the car has always been, but I'm worrying that something could have been "altered" by accident. Could some of you look at this on your cars....thanks.

I noticed this syndrome also, but it is a very slight difference on mine. I think if it is clearing it, its okay.

Mine has exactly the same problem as yours.

mine does too..... It only moves about 1/16 of an inch instead of 3/8" like it should. I took mine in to the dealer last week and they determined it needed a new window regulator.

It is getting installed tomorrow. Will post my results

That's so weird, same with mine. I hope we all don't need the new regulator. Also with my drivers door, I noticed that it doesn't quite close flush with the body. I tried to loosen the door striker to see if I could adjust it in a bit, but no luck.

went to the dealer on Friday.... they didn't fix it... they ordered the wrong part.

I needed a driver side regulator and they ordered a passenger side.

for my inconvenience they gave me a 350Z sunshade specially cut for the Z and a bottle of touch up paint....

Hopefully by Thursday I'll get it fixed.
