we are a cut above the competition because we are driving a luxury car which costs more. I am glad our car costs more than most because it reflects our higher income tastes.

A porsche is very expensive for the amount of hps you get. Compared with a camero for example you get almost the same hps for a lot less.

People buy a porsche because of the image. Most Porsche or even TT drivers could care less about the hp comparisons with a Tiberon or some other lower priced car because they want the porsche/audi logo on their vehicle's hood and bumper. That is what they paid for. An impression/image.

We bought the TT because it states something about us as the driver...younger more professional people with class and fatter wallets.

Yes, the Z has the TT beat on raw power but it is still a Nissan...not an Infinity, not a Lexus...a nissan aka Datsun!

You will see alot of these on the street...like we do the Tiberon for example. But the TT will remain a car of sophistication for the more discering and affluent driver.

Now here, he's comparing the Z and the TT. Whatever he wants to say is fine with me, he can take his class and wipe his *** with it From a girls perspective, guys who act/talk like this are never going to get a *real* girl - they'll get the money hungry girls who will take 75% of their dough when they divorce. Also, a guy who talks like this tries to boost his own ego for some insecurity. In my opinion, guys who brag about how much money they have can probably hardly afford the payments. Oh well, there's guys like this in every crowd, right?

Secondly, I'd like to see his response to a g35c vs. TT .. now that would be funny...Notice he said "it is still a Nissan, not an Infiniti" (which he can't even spell...) The Infiniti, to him, is obviously a high class car in the running with Audi's and Lexus' - cool...So someone should comment that Infiniti is making a 2+2 version of the Z, and see what this uneducated fool has to say. His whole bashing was on the fact that the car is a Nissan - not in the same class as his Audi. With the g35c, he can't bash on Infiniti, since he already said they're as high class as Lexus...

I was interested in a TT, Boxster S, Z3...i could afford them all. Half the people in this forum could afford all the cars he mentioned. But i found the Z to have a more rewarding emotional attachment to me. ( i sound like a girl talking about a relationship ) Also, who cares about money when the car you have is going to be as rare as a ferrari for 6 months???

I think the worst thing we can do is to act like Audi TT owners like him or anyone else who uses their cars to put someone else down. I am waiting for my pre-ordered Z because it's a great car and it brings back my memories of my 260Z which I bought in 1974 at a very special time in my life. To use our cars or other possessions to downgrade someone's worth or use it to make us better than someone else is just not right.

Sorry for the preaching but in our current times, let's enjoy what we have and not use it to divide us

 

Hmmm, isn't a TT a Bug? AKA a Volkswagen? You know, the car with the little vase in it?

People that try to justify the human beings they are with the car they drive are simply sad people. I personally think the TT is a cool car and if that is what a person likes then freakin great!! Get it.

I personally find the greatest satisfaction with getting the best value. The car has to perform the way I want, and then look good; not the other way around. People that wear Rolex watches have the exact same attitude as the poster above. I'll take my Omega's over the overpriced Rolex's any day.

 

here is the another funny thing, he compares the porsche and the tt, and put them in the same league, hmm last time i checked porsches are 10k over the price of the tt. and the price our beloved Z is almost the same as the TT. hehe i wonder what he would think if a porsche owner says the same about the tt.

Let's not forget Infiniti IS IN THE SAME CALSS as audi, BMW, lexus, and MB and yes it will kick some *** witht he G35 coupe as it is now with the G35 sedan.

 

that tt is the ugliest POS ive ever seen. Hahahah, higher income tastes my ***....ever see someone do that to a porsche, i dont think so. My opinion is that he should be shot based on the wheel gap alone.

I think that color is one of the worst that I've ever seen on a car. I saw one on I-75 on sunday and I couldn't believe someone bought a car in that color. It looks like clear coated primer, like they forgot to paint the car or something!

Ok guys...this dude is a real jerk...but please don't stereotype Audi owners or TT owners for that matter as being snobs. I for one, own a 2002 A4 3.0 and I certainly DID NOT buy it to show that I have a "fatter wallet". The fact is that there are idiots at every forum, but lets not stoop to his level, and show some Z class. I bought my Audi because it is a great car with AWD for the New England winter. I'm also in love with the new Z and want one for myself so the wife takes over the A4 I think you guys might be a little too defensive, just ignore the idiot. I mean look at what he did to his TT, even Audi owners would cringe at that!

I've had the Porsche ('97 993) and the Mercedes ('01 CLK 55) not for the reasons he states, just because I liked their looks/power. I DUMPED my Mercedes with a 20K loss so that I could own this "NISSAN". It reminds me of the days of old (240Z) with the power of today's performance cars. I can't wait until it arrives. Not one minuite of remorse about the Mercedes. Keep your TT and get a bar of soap for that bathtub.

 

more than likely he's really a 15 year old child, I doubt anyone actually buys a car to show how much money they have. A lot of us here can afford more expencive cars, I could buy a Z06 or a M3/M5 tomorrow if I wanted one. But the Z is a special car, and in this first few months it WILL be as rare as a ferrari.
