What a shame. Was there a major a$$ kicking afterwards?

350z-Jason Sep 3, 2008 10:41 AM

he wrecked your car? and you're not in jail for killing him?

konaforever Sep 3, 2008 10:42 AM

Were you in the car WITH him at the time?

GenPac Sep 3, 2008 10:50 AM

What's the story behind this? Give us some background on your grave error in judgement :icon6:

WTX350Z Sep 3, 2008 10:54 AM

seriously, this is why no one drives my cars.

The Z is so easy to handle, I don't understand how ppl wreck them all the time. well other than pure stupidity. I find the car very predictable, but I guess I'm just skilled.

konaforever Sep 3, 2008 10:56 AM

From the first pic, it looks like he ended up on a sidewalk between two posts. Did he take a turn too hard?

spdtckts Sep 3, 2008 10:56 AM

never had a problem with mine... maybe he found the TCS button.

Lord Zed Sep 3, 2008 11:08 AM

Yea, TCS definitely looks like it was off. Unless it's not equipped

pearl_Z Sep 3, 2008 11:09 AM

he punched it coming out of a corner over corrected did a 180 as we slid across the oncoming lanes and over the curb

pearl_Z Sep 3, 2008 11:11 AM

ya no TCS

YOGURT! Sep 3, 2008 11:11 AM

I did the same thing the first week I got my Z.. it was wet out, turned the TCS off.. gave it a little too much gas and the physics took the car off the road.
my damage was just a fender.. nothing at all like THAT

ny garbage_juice Sep 3, 2008 11:12 AM

no brains
no skills

z350boy Sep 3, 2008 11:12 AM

Admit it!!.....you were drifting!!

konaforever Sep 3, 2008 11:20 AM

He was probably used to FWD in the RSX which understeers!

WTX350Z Sep 3, 2008 11:22 AM

Did you learn your lesson? :icon39:

and did you kick him in the nuts?

Entaille Sep 3, 2008 11:24 AM

everyone is used to fwd.. they don't understand how to correct sway and swerve with rwd, especially on road wets, or worse yet - snow.. my first car was a 68 camaro so I lucked out :)

Entaille Sep 3, 2008 11:25 AM

by the way .. sorry for your loss, I hope it is a good friend who will get insurance to take care of it, or pay out of pocket, right away, and I hope the repair work is quality so you don't notice a difference..

and thanks for reinforcing my decision to not let my friends drive my car. it's been a hot question lately :)

halfass872 Sep 3, 2008 11:27 AM

That really sucks, sorry to hear man.

But seriously though, you have to turn your finger around and point it at yourself. Unless he drove it without your permision.

trinityracer Sep 3, 2008 11:32 AM

Not all RSX or Previous RSX owners are idiots :icon14: ....I have not crashed my Z yet.
