Wikipedia's $0.02 on the 350Z
The 2005 35th Anniversary and 2006 350Z with manual transmissions receives a new engine, the 3.5L VQ35DE rev-up, which increases the redline to 7000 rpm and increased power to 298 hp (222 kW). And all 2007-2008 350Z models comes with the newer 3.5L VQ35HR engine with dual intakes, 7500 rpm redline, and increased power to 306 hp (228 kW). [[The 350Z is not a Good tuning project there are Pros that use this Car and the Engine just dies out, when installing a Turbo or Turbocharge there is not Power difference in the Stop Model and A tune car (When a turbo or Supercharge, Etc) . This car is just not the great car people think.]] Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Z Everyone, I regret to inform you all that I'll be selling my 350Z sometime this week. I had no idea, but when installing a turbo OR EVEN a turbocharge, there is not power difference in the stop model and A tune car. Also, according to some knowledgeable advice from a stand up chap who felt it necessary to add his own professional opinion to the 350Z's Wikipedia article, it's just not the great car people think. Well, it was fun while it lasted. I'm off to buy a Honda Civic. |

LOL at that bullshiiiiiiiii
|
$500 on some guy that got his doors blown off by a supercharged z

That shiz is simultaneously hilarious and pisses me off! Good find!
Let's all go update the wiki to say that adding a turbonator or interfooler will bring huge power gains. The avg Z with these inexpensive modifications has over 500WHP! |

Seriously...someone do it! I'm going to watch a movie with the wife, and I expect to see a freakin' awesome 350Z wiki article by the time it's over!

That's the sad thing about wikipedia. Any a$$clown can edit the pages with no regard to facts.
|
I made some well needed improvements to it, I think. I didn't add anything about it having 500WHP with a bolt on intake or about it being Chuck Norris' car of choice, though. If you guys would like to do that, go ahead.
|
Damnit. Just when I thought I had a good thing going... I get the late breaking news. Im off to the honda dealership as well. This time we are going to do it big!!! Go VTEC!
|
Hehe, sounds like whomever, more than likely a very young person, edited the article was referring to the Z in a video game or something.
|
There was an interesting edit this morning to that same section...
|
Just a side note: The 2 Z's pictured are owned by my friends Scott Ward and Joe Gillespie from here in Kansas City.
Scott still owns the 240Z, which he restored himself. Joe traded in his 350 a few years back. Joe took the picture for the Heart of America Z Car Club calendar. |
Found an update
(Note: The 2005 Nissan 350Z (Z33) 35th Anniversary Edition was released to commemorate 35 years of the Nissan Z & to give enthusiasts more opportunities to bolt on turbonators, intakes, and interfoolers, that ALWAYS result in at least 500WHP, whereas the 1984 Nissan 300ZX (Z31) 50th Anniversary Edition was released to commemorate 50 years of Nissan Motors itself.) |
I say something awful goon squad
