My new 04 is FINALLY here!! Let the Mod's begin.
 

Well after waiting 2 months I finally got my 04 Le Mans Sunset Coupe. Before they even washed it I had installed my Nismo Bronze Rims and Pilot Sport Tires. Thursday the 18th, I'm getting it Dyno'ed and will run a base line at Irwindale's 1/8 mile strip. From there the next several weeks will see the following Mods.... Nismo stuff includes: Intake, cams, flywheel, headers, cat-back, sways, S-Tune suspension, p/s oil cooler, titanium shift knob, floor mats, lic frame, Z horns, dark tinted side markers, radiator cap, oil cap and a Fairlady Z emblem. . Non Nismo: MotorSports optima battery, 4 wheel stop tech brakes, random tech cats, carbon fiber Nismo body kit (painted Sunset), killer sound system, personalized Calif lic plate "MY NISMO" and lot's of www.PerformanceNissanParts.com stickers!! :D

Ok, that was all going to be done on the first day. Even God rested on the 7th day! It will be interesting to see how nice this Lemans will be in the future.

Great idea for a big drag race event, bring sponsors, hot dogs, show cars, and don king, and you're set!

What a great idea!! But let's do this in 2004.... We have a few more mod's in mind for next year...... :D

BTW: I'm building this car for you local guys. This will give you a chance to drive a car that has been modded out and see what you like and don't like!!!

question why get the kit in carbon, if your painting it Le Mans?

Since it was a gift from my race team it was hard to say no. They felt the quality and weight savings over fiberglass was worth the extra time and money spent. I would have been just as happy with waiting for the factory Nismo kit, but..... who likes to wait!:D

b18bvudoo: Yes, i'll post about the sniffer test when all the mod's are in. (now for the dealer disclaimer) Please keep in mind it is illegal in Calif to replace a Cat with anything other than a stock cat. :icon17:

For safety issues Jeff, I should be the first to drive it. Wouldn't want you to hurt yourself. I will make sure she is safe for you. I know you are saying NO don't be so kind to put your life on the line. I know I am a trooper, so just call me and I will make sure test it out for you. :D
