Default How much have you spent on mods?

I know I am by no means toward the top of this list, but was curious how much others have dumped into their Z since buying it.
It was kind of an eye opener for me after my last round of purchases.

Including the parts that I have in hand that will be installed in two weeks, I'm in for $12,000+ since buying my car approximately 1 year ago!

Holy Crap!!! Averaged out... that's about $1000/month that I could have added to a car payment. Jesus! Not even counting what I'm paying for my Z, what could have I bought instead for $1K / month!!!!

Of course, I wouldn't be having nearly as much as I am no "personalizing" my baby. Figure at the rate I'm going, I'll have more money in mods than I spent on the car in about another 1 1/2 years.

So what are the tallies for some of you other 350Z owners???

He may not have the highest total, but it looks like Jesse has been the most efficient. Looking at his mods, $5K should only cover the cost of the ATI Procharger (minus install costs)!

Jesse... I knew you were getting a deal on the ATI, but damn.. Way to go!!!

well let me see...

1) full Nismo body kit
2) Nismo exhaust, intake, headers, and camshaft.
3) 18"X9" SSR competition-H graphite(anthracite) spokes with machined lip.
4) Alpine SPS-170A speakers(200 watts), very very loud. 2 12" Alpine SWR-1241D subwoofers with a 2 channels MRT-T420 amp.
5) Alpine DHA-S680 DVD changer in the other open compartment aside from the stock DVD NAV.

and much much more to the performance. and all of that, i think that i've spend at "least" $10G on it. the car should now worth at "least" $45G if i bought it and didnt drive it much and kept it "low" mileage. like under 10 maybe.

sorry, electrolux... a lot of my stuff you can't see!

All the visible external mods, you can see in the picture below (must make note to retake pic at this angle under good sunlight)

Soon, I'll post some new underhood pics after I get all the polished stuff put in.

i have parking sensors...its a sensor that is engaged when the car is in "reverse" ..it beeps when you are getting close to a car

to be honest..they are not necessary...but i havnt ever bumped my Z yet..

its just really an unnecessary luxury

my mom has them on her car and i was driving that car b4 the Z so i got spoiled

meanwhile..mcduck...do you have mods that are not listed in your avatar..because i cant imagine how that is 12 grand

meanwhile..your car in that shot is amazing..it looks so wide andit just gives me the chills

PS...i hate when people think that taking pictures in sunlight are better..i like the shade...much richer pictures

I've spent:
Enkie RPO2J - $1000
Kumho V700 - $1000

Total: $2000

As far as pictures go, the Brickyard has a very deep coppery shine that only comes out in the sunlight. It is one color that IMO looks better in the sun when you can see that sparkle.
