Rim's or Coilovers first?

I have enough to buy these right now. BC Racing BR-Type Coilovers

Or I could have these VMR v710's by Christmas but I wouldn't be rolling around flush until a few more months after the rims.

What are you guys thinking?

Coilovers, because when you post pics of your car with new wheels everybody is going to say you need to lower it.... So .....

Emski Nov 23, 2012 04:37 PM

Simple. Wait a few months after Christmas and get both the same time.

jduet Nov 23, 2012 05:11 PM

Both will look like chit without the other

vex008 Nov 23, 2012 05:23 PM

coils and spacer on stock wheels. wheels couple months later

logan09 Nov 23, 2012 07:27 PM

Rims first. Who wants a lowered car on ugly rims. At least with rims and no lowering it looks half decent

terrasmak Nov 23, 2012 07:35 PM

Do what you want. I would probably just get the wheels first.

Performance.

KNDP24 Nov 23, 2012 08:38 PM

coils. most rims without coils makes the car look ugly and if anything you'll feel an improvement on the handling so that will be fun to experience as opposed to just getting newer rims for just looks.

Wheels can beaggressive yes, but you can always make stock wheels look aggressive with a drop. Dropppp

HDPDZO6 Nov 23, 2012 10:46 PM

I would go with rims first. And for the ones claiming you need a drop for it to look good, BS.

I'll take it you're not lowered nor seen a lowered Z in person.
Not even the same car. With a lowered stance the car is completely transformed even on stock rims. Have fun with that fender gap. Am I suppose to be impressed by your pic?
