35th Anniversary Edition 350z Owners
I have been searching this site to see if there was a thread for all the owners of the 35th ann edition z and found nothing, I am curious to see how many people on this site own one. Lets see your ride and specs follow template below. It says there were only 5000 made world wide. I will post more pics after work.

The 35th Anniversary Z was débuted at the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas on November 2, followed by its first public appearance at the Miami Auto Show in early November. It went on sale in January 2005. The 35th Anniversary Edition includes an updated VQ35DE 300 hp (220 kW) V6 engine for the six-speed manual transmission model. Other key 35th Anniversary Z equipment (standard on both six-speed manual and five-speed automatic-equipped versions) includes unique 18-inch (460 mm) cast aluminum-alloy wheels, front and rear spoilers, Brembo brakes and special Z badging. The car comes in a variety of unique colors including "Ultra Yellow", "Super Black" body colors. This Z's interior also was available with a two-tone black and beige set configuration. Also included was a Bose 7-speaker premium sound system with available navigation. Only 5000 copies of this collectors' item were released LOCATION:Newark Delaware MODEL: 2005 35th ann 350z MILES:82k PRICE PAID:16k-1 yr ago at 65k miles from united auto sales delaware COLOR:Silverstone INTERIOR: Two Tone Leather black/Tan TRANS:6 Speed Manual ENGINE:VQ35DE FEATURES/OPTIONS: Navigation//VSC//Gold Brembo//Heated mirrors and seats//Bose system//BI-Xenon headlights//35th ann floormats.. FLUIDS: Royal Purple for everything and Motul for brakes ISSUES/PROBLEMS: I had the common issue of the clutch sticking when it was too cold or too hot outside. I finally had my clutch go out on me so I replaced with JWT HD clutch and flywheel combo. Cleared that issue up as well as drastically changed the dynamics of the car (although its pretty noisey but I can deal with it). I also put in new spark plugs at 100k only to find out that the spark plug cylinders were filled with oil (not cool). Something to note is that if that happens you NEED NEW VALVE COVERS. yes, not just a simple seal but all new covers. So that is something to keep an eye out on your car as well. FIXES FOR ISSUES: New JWT clutch & New OEM valve covers Side note: That clicking you're hearing is most likely from the diff. I had a similar noise (clicking) happen on take off or in reverse. It turned out to be a very easy fix of re-greasing the rear axles. |

Haven't fixed bump steering problem yet. New valve cover gasket due to oil leak. |

For info on Nismo on this site go to; Forums>General>03' to '09 Nissan 350z>this leads to 3 sub forums of which Nismo is the 2nd on down out of three. This will give you all the information you will need on the Nissan 350Z Nismo. OOOPpss I wish i'd read the op's entry properly and realised it was 35th anniversary models and not Nismo's. My bad.

New to the forum, 35th Anniversary Edition, Black Automatic
Hi Guys, I am new to the website and forum.
I acquired a 2005 35th AE in Ultra Black about a year ago. It had 116K, the dealer did not know what he had and I stole it for $12.5, I have had allot of work done on it over the last year, (so, less of a deal than I thought) new rotors & pads, shocks, tires, new valve cover, new oil pressor sensor, new radiator and fan assembly, K&N Air filter, the plastic nose had allot of road abuse but looks sweet as hell with the factory bra, nose guard I put on it. it's near perfect now, and I freakin' LOVE IT! Its a fantastic drive! As I understand that only 259 were made in back... Does anyone know how may of those were automatics with the semi-automatic shifty thing? It's a rare car. I am an amputee (left foot and ankle) from a motorcycle accident in 2001, so I actually am thrilled to have the automatic with the manual shift mode, which i use pretty often, especially for downshifting. I work as a music composer for network television and truly appreciate the Bose 7 Speaker set up for pleasure and checking my own mixes. The car had an Alpine deck wit Aux input for my phone when I bought it and it sounds freakin' killer. No Nav. package which is fine with me since rely on my phone and siri anyway. It has the 35th AV floor mats, and all the appropriate features and trim including the back with tan heated leather seats. knock on wood... the engine and transmission are in excellent condition. Nicest most fun car I have EVER OWNED! Midlife crisis accomplished! I'm single and have no kids, so the car made perfect sense to me. lol LOCATION:Bay Area, CA MODEL:35th A.E. Silverstone Just rolled over 78k miles Second owner Manual transmission Black on black interior. Leather with orange stitching Base audio system Power everything Brembo brakes Mods: Very minimal at the moment. Redline transmission and differential fluid swap. Super blue clutch and break fluid swap. Custom 19" wheels and nitto neogen tires. I plan on doing good and few more things but nothing major. Engine runs fantastic and until I need a rebuild I won't over modify it. JWT HD clutch kit and lightweight flywheel. Problems: Not much to speak of. Had heard that oil consumption is a big issue with the DE rev up motor but mine consumes very little. About a half quart for my first 3k of ownership. That's all I can think of for now. Nice thread. Can't believe there were only 5000 made. I love mine!!! Attachment 379690 Attachment 379691 Attachment 379692 Attachment 379693 |

Nice ride. Maybe I'm nuts but I thought Silverstone was the darker grey, and that the silver Z's were either coded chrome silver (2003-05) and silver alloy (2006-09).
