Nice! Welcome back!

Good luck man !

What's the point of changing the steering wheel to one from a higher trim level?
|
Thanks for the comments
The steering wheel that is on it right now is in bad shape The one extra I have is like new so it's just for feel and looks |
I get it, and now that I'm looking again I can see how beat up the original wheel is.

Was this guy the previous owner by chance???
|
Lol
It's so bad inside I wouldn't be surprised |
Don't feel bad - the '08 interiors sucked. My steering wheel still looks great (I'm also in FL), but virtually every piece covered by that rubberized coating crap just disintegrated in less than 2 years, while the car was still under warranty and had ~25K miles. I could not have been more careful, and barely touched anything. I took all those pieces off and had them hydro-dipped, and they've been fine ever since.

Wow that looks really nice
I just bought all the pieces to replace the old ones I will look into that Where did you get it done? |
Unfortunately, I had to have the pieces hydro-dipped 2 times. The first time I sent them to one of this site's sponsors. They advertised their work as "Best in the Industry", but the quality was horrendous. Had to get assistance from the mods here and my CC company to get the refund.
This is bad work: http://deanwcains.smugmug.com/Other/...IMG_0617-L.jpg Second time I sent them all the way to a shop in Montana: http://www.shawnaughtydesignz.com/hydrographics.html This is good work: http://deanwcains.smugmug.com/Other/...photo-33-L.jpg http://www.smugmug.com/photos/i-XgWJ...-XgWJKdC-L.jpg I'd suggest if you want to get this sort of work done, find a local shop and see their completed work, in person. If you really want the best, and want genuine CF, this is your place: https://www.facebook.com/carbonfiberelement |
Thank you
I will look into it Looks like a quality job |
Yup. Killing the game with your upgrades bro!
|
Looks pretty good except the interior (as noted)
I'd say get a shorty antenna on there and do a rear wiper delete and it'll be clean and simple. |
|
INGs LX Replica front lip
Shorty Antena Tints On the way Stay tuned....... |
As a fellow "base" owner, I can tell you a good LSD transforms the car. Lots of choices, but I have a Quaife in mine now. Even the used OEM VLSD I tried first was a big difference, though.
