How much will I get hit on insurance?

I'm a 19 year old, about to buy a 350z. I live in Chicago. The car is an 04 at 78k miles selling at $11,000. If I end up paying $250 a month for the loan after the dorm payment, how much will I be hit with insurance besides the $250? one more thing, I couldn't find a Nismo by here, is it possible to put a nismo bumper on a regular base?

lol, I work for State Farm.. this is a really dumb question since no one on here knows where you live, what grades, tickets, how long have you been with your current insurance company, and what CREDIT SCORE you have... From what ive seen.... your looking at around 250.00 bucks a month if you insure it by yourself.

PP08HR 07-21-2015 05:37 PM

Just bought an 08 with 52k miles.

I am 36 with perfect driving record and my insurance in 112.00 per month for full coverage.

crramos10 07-21-2015 06:28 PM

I never bought a car through a dealer before, yeah I'm a noob ha thanks I was afraid I would get around $300.

StevSam 07-21-2015 06:42 PM

Regarding a nismo bumper, I believe you can. I was able to put a nismo v2 on my base 06

FOOKhonda 07-21-2015 07:50 PM

Depending on your driving record your likely to be between 250-300$

I just dropped my insurance from 287 to 200 flat by switching companies (not geico) they actually quoted me near the highest for previous cars...
But I also have me and my gf on there with her having an at fault accident and me having a few tickets.. not to bad though for our age too.

Expect to pay high $200's a month though.

Dallasmavs92 07-21-2015 09:24 PM

No way for us to tell.

But I'm 23, and full coverage with geico 100/300/100 $500 deductible, max rental coverage and roadside assistance and I pay $114. No tickets or accidents.

I'm paying like 97 a month, me and me woman on it, In orlando, Full coverage, 500 deductible, I've had 1 5 mph speeding ticket since I was 18, (29 now)

dboyzalter 07-22-2015 05:35 AM

I pay like $500 a year full coverage $1000 deductible. But like others have said it depends on your age driving record and location. If you live in a city your risk is greater then if you live in the sticks. Also they give discounts for multiple cars and if you get your home insurance through the same company. Ive been with the same company for like 14 years. (USAA) they are good if your qualified to have them.

Everyone else has answered the main question. Regarding the Nismo bumper, it will go straight on but you will need to get a different undershroud or whatever it's called I believe. Vendors sell them on here.

PerfZ 07-22-2015 06:38 AM

Call a couple of companies, starting with your parents company. Do not be fooled/tricked by on-line quotes. Most of them are worthless and will lowball the quote.

dboyzalter 07-22-2015 06:47 AM

Most companies give you a good rate the first year to get you in with them then go up.

I'm 23 with an 06 Z and no car note. I have Nationwide Full coverage 300/100/300 with a $500 deductible. Pretty decent driving record...I guess. Totaled a car at 17 and 2 minor tickets total. I pay $72/month. A few years ago I had a g35 coupe with the same policy and a car note and was paying $125. Also from Chicago as well. Hope this helps!

And I don't see why you couldn't put a Nismo bumper on any Z.

Pengu 07-22-2015 08:42 AM

I am 23 with an 08 Z, and have Progressive (full coverage) with a $1000 deductible and pay $100 a month. There are so many factors though it's easier to just make a 10 minute call to your insurance agent and get a quote.

travlee 07-22-2015 08:51 AM

but that makes entirely too much sense

StuLax18 07-22-2015 11:04 AM

Imma throw out $200-250, final answer Regis.

Bill350z 07-23-2015 07:55 AM

I bought my 05 Z when I was 18.
I had State Farm and payed 170 a month for full coverage.

Chuckles_031 07-23-2015 04:33 PM
