Would like some input
I have a 2008 350z. I've always been a big fan of the nismo body style. Always loved the rear bumper and wing. Would it be frowned upon if I was to put on the rear bumper and wing on a non nismo 350z? I don't want to look like a phony or anything

I think its fine, as long as you don't put on the Nismo badge

This is funny, the nismo trim is basically just a body-kit, in the first place. It's your car, if you want to put the body-kit, badges, gauge cluster, w/e.. you can! I doubt anyone is really going to care.
The only thing I think people would care about is if you go to sell it, and then pass it off as a real nismo trim. |

Back to original question.... I do agree with Chihuahua that no one is (or should) really care, it's YOUR car. But yeah, also agree that trying to pass it off as the real thing would be frowned on. Not saying you'd do that, just reiteratng his point. |
Don't forget the extra seam welding the NISMO 350Z got. Even though it's imperceptible to the average consumer, it makes a difference in handling. The body kit, not so much...

Why yes, I do miss my Nismos - as I do almost every one of my Z cars of days past. :icon17: https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/my350z....02910133a3.jpg Was looking around for a late model Z34N to add to the fleet but so many with A/T that I temporarily gave up... but may resume again in a couple of months (after summer). |
